First have a decorative display sign on your window informing people about it. Also on each table leave a small survey paper asking what day of the weekend for Biker's Day would be the best day and what foods would you as a biker like to see. Just some examples and have them either hand it over to cashier or insert in a suggestion box.
Another idea is to distribute leaflets at places like the mall, Harley's bike showrooms, and around the neighbourhood.
That particular day for bikers too you can decorate the resturant linen on tables with something suitable or have a theme for Biker's Day. You can even name /add your customer's name to his or her favourite sandwiches or drink. I have seen this done in countries abroad. If a customer comes in often and orders a particular sandwich or drink made to suit his tastes they name the sandwich or drink after that person. The sandwich keeps it's name. Thus, anyone can have Jack's double decker or whatever..on the menu it has a small description of what exactly is in the sandwich. It is a great promoter!

Flyers and local ads. If you're doing it at night...LIGHTS, LIGHTS, LIGHTS. You can go to a rental place and get stadium type lights and/or searchlights. Both or either will bring HUGE attention. Also..a free drink with the food..maybe one of those "never empty cup" deals where you can keep refilling for free. (Don't sweat it..how much softdrink is one person going to swill..they're there for the food) and for the average biker..LARGE portions.
A parting thought...speaking as a "biker type"...keep it simple. No frilly crap. No Q and A stuff. No suggestion boxes. ALWAYS offer something nice for the ladies. Good luck.

Just Keep it simple.....The main concern would be the food!
Think of biker names for the different foods you will be serving!
Music, would be the next major concern......Great Food and Music, has always tamed the wild beast in all people. Advertise in your local newspaper, and on a local popular radio station.
Good luck!
PS.....you could throw in some kind of contest for the best and worst looking biker guy....tell all the ladies to show up and vote!
You better have prizes to give away to the winners too.
That might make it a bit more interesting.

First, you should contact your local distributor of soft drinks (or alcoholic beverages if you are licensed to sell them) and inform them of your ideas. Most distributors are more than willing to help promote a function as long as you're promoting their product as well! Second, contact your local chapter of Guardians, Blue Knights, ABATE-CMR, etc. and inform them of the events. Next, try to collect items for door prizes from the distributors, i.e. T-shirts, wall plaques, etc. Don't forget to include FREEBIES from your business, though, as this will bring business back to you another night! Schedule entertainment for the event ... a local band, karaoke or free juke box. Finally, ADVERTISE!!! Post fliers EVERYWHERE you can and, if feasible, advertise in newspapers in the entertainment or foods section. Some distributors will also help you advertise by having banners made up (at their own cost) to promote the event while advertising their product as well! Good luck!

Advertise and offer specials. 1/2 off particular items or buy one get one free. Put fliers up in motorcycle shops and gas stations.

Advertise, Advertise, Advertise. If you are in the business, I can't understand why you have to write here to ask. You should know what to do.
I'm not sure I would want to visit your establishment. If you don't know how to advertise for an event.........than maybe you don't know anything about the food you cook......huh......right?!
