For those making fun of my question....
"Boomerangs can be variously used as hunting weapons, percussive musical instruments, battle clubs, fire-starters, decoys for hunting waterfowl, and as recreational playthings."

I was just wondering if anyone here has tried it. Thanks for serious answers.

Well when I was a senior in highschool, I took plans from a Popular Mechanics magazine and made a boomerang. My dumbass made it outta clear Lexan. A buddy and I went out to the football field and I threw it and as you can guess we couldn't see it. It must have flew out about 150yds. before it came back and we couldn't see it we could hear the whirly noise so we hit the deck and I watched my buddy curl up on his knees and God help me that boomerang hit him right in the a s s!! He hollered but he didn't get hurt. That's my experience w/a boomerang.

If I hunted w.one I would most certainly die.

Not me, but my boyfriend did. Unfortunately, he threw it at a little bird in flight, and missed. It came back towards us, hit the windshield of his jeep and cracked the glass. I nearly died laughing. He wasn't quite as amused.

Sadly, Australia lost a third of its original population testing that idea out.

I did in 1963. I bagged a tiger with one. He almost chewed my shoe off trying to get away.
