I naturally have dark eyebrows, but I'd like to try a blonder shade of hair. Does it look ridiculous to have very dark eyebrows with the lighter hair? Why can't I use my haircolor (from a box) on the eyebrows? Is there ever a way to lighten brows, and will that make you look weird?

I think it's weird like on t.v when someone has black eyebrows but blonde hair...
you could keep the eyebrow color if you keeps a few highlihgts of natural color in your hair.
I do not think that people normally have darker eyebrows than hair. My hair is brown but my eyebrows are light yellow and I have never dyed either.

Not at all. Do you feel attractive the way you are? Leave them alone. My eyebrows and lashes have always been darker than my hair, most eyebrows are darker. I like them just the way they are. If you are that uncomfortable then dye them, using a baby toothbrush and leave dye on for about 15minutes not the full length of time the hair takes. Do this when you color your hair again, do your hair first then the brows....... Just saw photos of Lindsey Lohan as a wanna be Marilyn Monroe. Short Platinum blonde hair and very dark brunette/auburn eyebrows. Not very nice at all. Of all the beautiful models/celebs to shoot a 40th anniversary tribute to Marilyn they picked the wrong person.

1. No it doesn't look weird to have dark eye brows and blond hair. Many natural blonds have this if your hair is in the honey/ carmel range. I know I do.
In fact one co-worker said her husband preferred that look. Many naturally lighter blonds buy pencils to darken their eyebrows so they show up at all.
2. The hair color on the box could make you blind if it got in your eyes. Earlier in the century there was a product called "Lash Lure" for dying eye lashes that tons of women used. Sadly tons of women went blind.
My friend and I had a scare in 7th grade. We were both dying our hair at the same time in my tiny bathroom (for the very first time) Doing everything *EXACTLY* the way the box said to. All of a sudden my friend said her one eye was all blurry. We freaked out! It turned out she had actually just gotten Vaseline in her eye, stupid huh, but we have both been scared of that ever since...
3. I think there are bleach products designed for facial hair, but their are all designed to make the hair invisible, like for your upper lip. I would try a taupe eye brow brush for a couple weeks and see how that works out instead. If you really want to go lighter talk to your hair dresser.

Your eyebrows should match your hair color or that just looks funny and peopple can tell if you have colored your hair. Just go to a nail shop and most of them dye eyebrows now, but do not put that dye from the box on your face. Bad news for you if you already did.

its looks good on some people but some people just look ugly with dark brows and light hair just dye your brows brown so that its not too light

its okay to use the color on your eyebrow. just be careful when you apply...cuz it satains on your face and dont get it in the eyes...
also, dont make the brows lighter than your hair color...its gonna look weird.

Brows should be a little darker but I use a little from the box when i do it.
