I prefer someone to just say, "Hey, its not working out. Let's just go our seperate ways." I think its so much more respectful.

Most people are uncomfortable with the idea of having to tell someone something that will make them feel bad. I'm very outgoing and most often say what's on my mind, but I still find in difficult to tell people things they probably don't want to hear. Socially, men are taught to keep things inside, so if they don't speak to you, they never have to be uncomfortable.

Becaue the majority of men are punks and were not brought up with the tools they need to face their problems head on.
Think about this, there are alot of single mothers raising children alone. No matter how fantastic a single mother is, a woman can not teach a boy how to be a man. That's the fathers job.
So if you have a generation of men that were raised strickly by women.....what else is there to conclude that the majority of these boys that become men don't know what it is to be a real man because they've never been exposed to one.
Another reason a guys do this to girls is because they don't respect them. I'm sot saying that it's something that you did to have him not respect you. It's just what men these days do.
But always remember this little sister. You teach other people on how to treat you. If you feel like a guy is'nt treating you properly....Forget him! Kick him to the curb. DEMAND BETTER TREATMENT. YOU AND I BOTH KNOW YOU'RE WORTHY OF IT!
You don't have to put up with any crap from anybody. Especially not some rude dude.
I hope this helps you some little sister. Remember. You don't have to take his crap. Just cut him off. He and men like him don't deserve you.

You can manipulate them back into loving you. Guys don't like to hear that heartbreak.
I had an exboyfriend from high school that always had his friend Wes call me to break up with me. The first few time I would cry and cry, and Wes would have to go tell him how hurt I was, but Wes would really try to console me, and I felt so sorry for him, because I can cry for hours. But the last time, when Wes called, I knew what was up, my exboyfriend had no courage to confront emotion. Then Wes and I started talking, and we dated for two years.

They're taking the cowards way out. True that it is hard to break the bad news to someone, it's far better to just say it, Guys. Seriously. We'll get over it. By pulling that kind of crap, that is exactly what makes us view you as the bad guy when you don't just fess up to the truth.

Its the total woose way to drop a girl. But hey, chicks do it all the time too.
Or its the "they want what they can't have tactic." They won't call for weeks so that when they do you faun all over them. Don't, and they'll stop doing it to you. Find the right person and he'll call you when you want him to and blah blah blah...happily ever after

because if they don't tell you, they can keep in contact just enough to keep you hangin on in case what they are into now does not work out
because they don't have enough courage
because they "might" not want to hurt you and don't realize not telling you hurts more
because they are a jerk
because they did not think it was serious and therefore did not feel it necessary
and on and on.....everyone is different....ask him...who knows, ya "might" even get an honest answer

I think its part coward and the other half is they dont want to really burn that bridege just in case they cant find anyone else to put up with their crap. But mostly its being a coward and guys hate seeing girls cry so they prefer just tp avoid it with lies and deceit

Same reason as women do. It takes more character to tell someone that you aren't interested in them than to simply ignore their calls. Its selfish and cowardly, but its reality.

Its the same reason that most guys don't like to ask females to be there girlfriends they don't know how to act around females. Plus they don't know the rules to breaking up.

They can't admit that they are scared to tell you. Even the toughest guys out there get scared just like everyone else.
