There are many different reasons why a woman would cheat.
One is boredom, want to try something new and exciting. The women who I know that have cheated did so because their husband was not showing them attention or affection. A new man came along and made them feel beautiful and desired them. Made them feel sexy.
It is usually attention that they are not getting from their spouse.

People cheat for a couple reasons. 1. They are just selfish. They want to keep what they already have but they want all thirty two flavors on the side. They are so weak minded they can't control their own genitals. 2. They are unhappy in a relationship. Never take that as it being your fault. It's not. They don't want to leave what they know because doing so is scarey so they seek what they're really looking for elsewhere.
Know this--if you confront someone and they tell you it's because you do this or don't do that, they are only making excuses for themselves and don't want to accept blame where blame is truly due. If they tell you they'll stop if you do this or stop doing that and you consent, you are only wasting your time. They may stop for awhile but will cheat again and will have a whole new list of reasons why it's your fault and not their own.
Never accept the blame for someone elses infidelity. If you truly make them so unhappy they can't remain commited then the right thing for them to do is to leave and get what they're looking for freely and in the open.
You may very well have numerous flaws but everyone does. There really may be things you need to work on and before you dump the jack off who cheats on you, you should hear what they say is wrong and consider if any of those things are valid. Then work on those things before getting into another relationship but remember that even with how ever many flaws you may have, reasonable people don't cheat because of them. Cheating is never your fault.

why do men cheat? It's the same answer to both questions They are obviously not happy with what they have. Or they like the thrill that they could get caught at any moment. I am not really sure on that one thought. That is the best I can figure out. I haven't cheated though.

Man every body cheats. Men, and Women. Because people want spice in there life. They get tired of being with that one person all the time.

It's not just women, men cheat also. Some have reasons and some just do cause they feel like doing it

Both sexes cheat, its just not exclusively females. Partners possibly cheat due to basic human needs or lack of companionship with their traditional partner. There are many faithful women who would never betray their lovers.

Please don't paint with such a wide brush. Some women cheat, some men cheat, heck, even my dog plays with the neighbor sometimes.

If we're cheating its probably cuz we're not getting something from our man.
So pay attention to your lady and make sure your giving her what she asks for. Sex, conversation, romance, etc.
