Without being able to actually examine the cyst under a slit lamp, people on here should not be trying to make medical diagnosis. First and foremost, you should stop wearing your contact lenses immediately and wear your glasses. Then try calling your eye doctor and telling them your symptoms again to see if you can be worked in for an earlier appointment. If you are going to an optometrist you should be able to be worked in as an "eye problem". Good luck and please don't try to treat yourself without first discussing it with your eye doctor

You could go see the duty doctor!! Get a second opinion for free and fast. Other than that I'm not sure just wait for your appointment. Tyr to keep your eyes clean and helthy and maybe you should wear glasses untill you find out what the problem is :) I wear contacts too by the way but I've only worn them for about 5-6 years and I'm 16. I've never had many problems. My guess is it's not the contacts that are irritating your eye lids but just to make sure you should leave them out like I mentioned before.

It sounds like you may have styes in your eyes. Don't wear your contacts for a while, and just keep to wearing your glasses till you see your doc. Just make sure with anything in or around your eyes, that you don't rubbed them too much if at all, wash your eyes out frequently, wash your hands all the time too in case it's contagious, and maybe get some antihistamine eye drops for now to stop the itching. Do not use milk on them as they may be infected (conjunctavitis) and this'll make it worse. Good Luck!

My husband and daughter both get what sounds similar to what you have. They are caused by allergies due to pollen and things like that, so they are worse in the spring/summer. They got a prescription for eye drops, Patanol. You might find some over the counter eye drops that will provide a bit of relief. You could also call your eye doctor for advice in the meantime while you are waiting for your appointment.

It might just be a plugged tear duct. I wear contacts also and get that all the time. Try putting a warm wash cloth over your eyes for about 10 minutes or so (you might have to do it a few times). If that is the problem, it should clean out the duct.

don't worry, it would be OK..
I have stye sometimes and the best thing I can do is to prick it..
it depends on your choice..
there are many ways to do it..but you have to decide..
Once I have a very bad ones, the doctor said it is because of my eyelashes, he did took it off with the needle, it was painful. but it healed and I got used to this so I do it by myself now unless it is not very very bad..
THE SITE BELOW IS HOW YOU CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOW.
I really don't like it, so I just want you to get rid fast of it.
here are the sites where you can choose how to take it out.
hope you get rid of that early, the better,
if you see hair inside that is growing..go to eye doctor immediiately..

Try going to the WebMD site and there is a forum for eye stuff. You can post and people will get back to you or a doc will. and of course they will tell you that this isn't an official diagnosis, but someone perhaps might be able to tell you or steer you in the right direction.

Gross! Take your contacts out immediately and don't wear them until after the appointment with your doctor. Try putting some neosporin on it in the mean time, it cures everything.

It's a stye.
Here's some stuff on it, but you might want to go to the pharmacy.
