Why is it that all we see and hear is people and groups like Cindy Sheehan protesting the war and the USA. Why don't these same people protest the terrorists and IED and the rape and murder of women and children or even the treatment of our own captured soldiers by these terrorists.
I'm not saying that we are perfect or that the military hasn't made mistakes. I'm just wondering why people haven't protested against people like Osama or Kim Jung and supported those that can't help themselves instead of those who are, for right or wrong, trying to help the downtrodden..
I am not saying not to protest or to exercise your right to. I am refering to the fact all we see is people protesting the USA and the military.I myself think that they should be just as passionate in their protests against the terrorists and the horrors they inflict.
It is just a plain fact that you never see or hear of them protesting the other side of things. It is always how bad we are in the USA.

I don't understand why people spit in the faces of the men and women that fight for their right to protest. It is one thing to protest and exercise your right to do so but it is another to condem those who, who by their sacrifices, allow you to have and regretably abuse those right.
I am just saying if you are going to complain about the state of things then complain about all sides.
I'd like to see Cindy Sheehan try to protest as freely in the middle east. It is our soldiers that have paid for her freedom to protest and abuse the system.

I agree and let me start by saying that we know the mistakes that our military has made because the mistakes are sure to make it to the 11 O'clock news. When's the last time that you saw coverage of the good that our soldiers are doing over there? I do not dispute that there are some shady things that have happened but there's been a lot more good along the way that has went unnoticed. Our guys are human. They make mistakes but they also do good everyday and the good just seems to go unnoticed. We need to start protesting against these protesters. If you disagree with our country so much than hey grab a flight to north korea because really we don't need you here.

You make a very good point. All I see when, I am on line, is a continuing theme of complaining, and People making assumptions. All about issues, They are not fully informed enough about, to make.
You are absolutely right, those of us that support Our Troops should stand shoulder to shoulder with those who are protesting Our Country, Our President, and Our Troops.
It takes an incredible inner strength and sacrifice to defend Our Country. And for That sacrifice, Our Soldiers are repaid by brainwashed idiots protesting Fellow Servicemen and Women's Funerals.

There are people out there who hold pro-war and pro-soldier rallies. Google "DCFreepers", they stand outside Walter Reed Army Hospital with thank-you signs. They also counter-protested against the group "code pink" A groups which protested being in Iraq in front of WR Also go to patriotguards.org. They are huge supporters of our vets/soldiers. They go to funerals of fallen heroes and of vets to honor them. There are actually more, just can't think of them right now. They are actually out there, few and far between, but there. Unfortunately the biased media only spot lights the anti-war protesters.

Basically, it is because the people protesting are protesting the actions of their own country, which doesn't mean that they think the other side is right; but saying we should know better.
It is kinda like having a big brother who picks on a younger sibling; you are going to say the older one should have more common sense.

This question is a very good one and I can see your views but there are some problems... First off you said protest both sides as if we are even actually fighting the terrorists, we aren't. We are murdering innocent people in the name of our beloved country, we are terrorizizng in the name of fighting terror, if we wanted to fight the terrorist factions than what the hell are we doing killing people in Iraq? The terrorist factions aren't even in Iraq, and if they were than there still wouldn't be any reason to kill innocent civillians. This is only my personal opinion on the matter. If I have offended you than allow me to express my deepest regrets.

What bothers me the most is that Cindy Sheehan is spitting on her own son's grave by doing what she's doing. He believed in fighting to protect the freedom she has to be a dumbass. He died, a proud soldier, fighting for the country he loved. God forbid, if my husband was taken while he was in Iraq, I would just see it as another reason to stay and finish the job. I would hate knowing my husband, the father of my children, died in vain. What kind of an mother, what kind of an American, is she?

you must have lost a young healthy vibrant child to a war riddled with lies! Therefore you must think you have the right to judge her. Oh that's right if you do not support killing of soilders and civilians and attacking foreign countries and spreading world wide hatered then you are not patriotic.
