Here's a little imaginary scenario. Let's say that we go back to when you were an infant. Unfortunately, both of your parents die a few days after you are born. Then a loving atheist family adopts you. They raise you well and treat you just like their own children. You go through life with their teaching, remaining an atheist until you die. And while you were alive, you never did drugs, always obeyed the law, remained abstinant until after you were married, and were, in general, a really good person. My question is, would your God forsake you for this? Do you think that God would send you to hell for being raised not believing in him?
I do not mean any harm or offense by this question, I'm just curious as to how you will respond. I have many self-proclaimed jesus freak, born-again Christian friends.

You say everyone can hear about God? What about those who live in a part of the earth untouched by modern technology? These peopl may never see or hear anything about God. What chance do these people have?

Well, some people would say that we are always offered a belief in God so that by not accepting that, you've rejected him. However, I am not willing to make the judgment. I am not God and cannot pretend to speak for him in this matter. Although there may be general rules, I think that ultimately, only God truly knows what is in a person heart.

Goodness does not get you into Heaven. God gives us every opportunity to know him and to believe in him. You can't tell me that no-where in this whole imaginary persons life did he ever hear about God. It doesn't matter how you are raised, you do at some point in your life become an adult and can make your own decisions about what you do and don't believe.
Yes, you will not get into Heaven unless you are saved by the grace of God. That my friend is the only way. Read your Bible.

Do you really want to know or are you just wanting someone to agree with you?
Why are 'all' Christians called Jesus Freaks??? Should sports fans that get excited be called Freaks?
There can be people in all groups and races that are extremists ---but don't put everyone in the same group.
We will all die and face Eternity........it will be too late then to change .
Christians care about others and they don't want to know anyone they love to go to Hell for Eternity.
To think, God gave his only Son for us who Believe and repent .. Eternal Life.
Jesus died for our sins and he was totally innocent of any sin. Thats Love and Mercy.
IF invited in our hearts he begins to change our hearts and minds. We have to make the choice.
God won't force anyone. We can't be in the middle. We are either for God or against Him.

In our world today it is hard not to have had some sort of opportunity to discuss various religions. My question to you is do you think it is possible that this person went their whole life and never heard a word from anyone anywhere about the bible or God or Jesus? Because if they did, then they had an opportunity to become aware of saving grace. I don't know what I would think if they honestly never had an opportunity to learn.

What does the Bible say?
Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jhn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Num 23:19 God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

HELL was made for the fallen angel's not mankind.
Adam was a Spiritman living in a body.
GOD, a Spirit, flowed through Adam Spiritually. Adam was alive Spiritually.
Adam committed HIGH TREASON and changed God's to satan.
Adam's Spiritman was messed-up when Adam did this(ate from tree)
GOD with-drew from Adam(quit flowing through Adam) when Adam blew-it.
Adam passed this messed-up Spiritman to everybody else (JESUS could not have an EARTHLY Father because of this)
Everybody is born LOST (dissconnected from GOD) because of this.
You have to get your Spiritman RECREATED (SAVED, Born-Again) for GOD to flow through you again, and make it to HEAVEN.
JESUS (not Religion) made it possible for every-one to get SAVED.
If you die a baby, or a child under the Age of Accountability, GOD recreate's you (a Spiritman) and take's you to HEAVEN.
After that Age, GOD will give you chance after chance to get SAVED, befor you leave the EARTH for GOOD, no second chance's after that---you have a Free-Will, GOD will not force you to accept JESUS as your SAVIOUR. Hope this helps.

God has mercy on those who are fatherless, or orphans. Still, according to scripture the only way to heaven is through His son, Jesus. I believe that He would send someone to tell the child about His salvation, which is a persons choice to accept or not. Our righteousness is as filthy rags before Him-no matter what a good person that we are here on earth. Not accepting what His son did on the cross and accepting it for oneself is why one goes to hell, not because of anything done. No offense taken! Hope that this helps!!

Christians who aknowledge Jesus but do not live in the spirit of God will be rejected.
I think there is evidence to support the idea that those who do not acknowledge Jesus but do live in the spirit of God can be saved. One such piece of evidence comes from:
Matthew 12:32
And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Jesus demanded that we believe in him. But that belief could only apply to those who has been exposed to him and his teachings.
I know he is loving and merciful, so I find it difficult to accept that he would reject people simply on the grounds that they knew little or nothing of him.

For a person who has never heard the gospel message, never heard of Jesus Christ, quite honestly I do not know, at judgment, what God will do with that person.
However, the bible says that "all of creation speaks of the existence of God, that no man has excuse". So this verse tells me that no one will have any excuse for rejecting God.
By the way, entrance to heaven is not gained by one's good works, or the absence of evil works, as your scenario describes. It is by faith in Christ alone.

Unless you lived in a coccoon, you'd know about Jesus. This would cause you to question.
In this day and age, where the Internet is rampant, you would know. Now, whether you choose to believe is up to you.
You would question many things, and this searching would cause you to find Christ.
