You MUST change completely to a very different religion. Totally immerse yourself and take in their customs, by abandoning your previous beliefs, marrying within their group, attend all services for the rest of your life. Would you do it?
i.e. Muslim to Jew
Fundamentalist Christian to Atheist
Atheist to Hasidic Jew etc.

No way what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul???

NO WAY!! not because I think its wrong to do so. I just don't think I could do it because I cant stand religion and all of the pointless customs and traditions. Religion is man made and for the most part sexist. 200 million dollars isn't worth becoming a part of some middle eastern religion where i would have to ware a head scarf and serve men for the rest of my life. Life is short. That question is exactly the same as asking, " Would you Give up more than half of your life time for 200 million dollars. I wouldn't even have the time to enjoy the money, so whats the point. If I could choose the religion that would be a different question.

That is the most ridiculous question I have read since I began looking at this site. There is not enough money in this world to make me change my religion. I am a born again Christian. Jesus Christ is my personal savior. He has brought such peace to my life that without him my life would not be worth living. He is my reason for being. So no. not for 200 million or ten times that amount. By the way you do know that the LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL don't you?

1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Absolutely not. Jesus Christ already paid the price for me...he counted the cost of my salvation and he paid the high price anyway.

This sounds much like one of the temptations Christ had to endure on the Mountain for 40 days and 40 nights before his crucifixion. Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, and Luke 4:1-13. After being baptized by John the Baptist, Jesus fasted for forty days and nights in the desert. During this time, the devil appeared to him and tempted Jesus to demonstrate his supernatural powers as proof of his divinity, each temptation being refused by Jesus with a quote of scripture from the Book of Deuteronomy. The Gospels state that having failed, the devil departed and angels came and brought nourishment to Jesus.

Jesus Christ is Lord---I pray, even when Christianity is deemed illegal in this country and the Christians are rounded up and put into concentration camps, that if I am among that number----I will have the courage and strength to shout His Name as long as I'm given breath.

anyone who wouldn't is a fool

And that my friend is a fact.

doseux2000 is the only one of you with a clue - what is wrong with you blind freaks. everything should be taken with a grain of salt if not provable - other wise you are just plain gullible and no more than a mindless animal.

Why do you think there are so many different religions anyway? - Its because there are so many fools to be taken advantage of. A fool and his money are soon parted. This is why it is built right in to some religions that you must give 10% of your income to the church or else you will go to hell. - Yeah that's god talking too. Wake up you sorry dumb as*es.

Once you know the truth you can't go back. I know Jesus lives. That's a fact. I know He is the Son of the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. Why would I choose to lay down in torment for eternity just to have a little power for a short span of time here on earth?

I guess it depends on how that religion will let me use the money. It would largely depend on what religion I was moving to - for instance if it allows me to pray to God, I'd probably rock it but if I'm moving over to a religion that I have to wear Nikes and a white jumpsuit, I'd pass.

It is not about religion. It is about a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. My Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills. A mere 200 million is nothing.

I would, by changing religion the goal to the one god does not change, and merely adopting new rituals would not hamper anything, but $ 200 m, will allow me to change a lot of things on the planet, so why not.

Satan took Jesus to the top of a temple he showed Jesus the world and it's wealth and said he would make him the ruler of it all if he would bow down and worship him.
Jesus told the Devil thy shall have no other Gods before me.
