How can you call yourself a friend? By no definition, you are no friend! It seems you have already made the choice between your two
" so-called " friends, by the simple fact of what you have done.
The cause of your " so-called " friend's break-up with her b/f came about by what you did. To explain your motive's by pointing fingers at your " so-called" friend doesn't excuse your behavior. This sham at a cover-up only makes me come to the conclusion that this just didn't happen by chance, it must have been in your mind long before you did what you did. It appears that you have made a deeper hole for yourself. If your " so-called" friend drops you like a " hot iron ", do you really blame her. Really, put yourself in her shoes and she how you feel. I would own up to the fact that I was the destroyer and tell your " so-called " friend. She may as well know as she will possibly find out in the long run. Depending on the severity of your actions, she will forgive but it might take some time. Whether or not she will trust you again as a friend is really hard to say, but maybe in time. Another thing is she was flirting around in the first place, maybe she was none to keen on the fellow and what you did might not be as bad after all.
Anyway, I would confess, it will give you peace of mind.
