My fiance is 24 and I am 43. He and I live an hour and 20 minutes apart. We have made it work because age is just a factor and distance is a span of time. Look at what you mean to eachother to decide if it will work. I have never had such a wonderful relationship in all my life. This is the first time I have dated anyone younger than me and I am so glad I took the chance.Good luck and I hope you two have many years of love and happiness!

Randy G is right and of course there is the possibility that it can last. Be sure to look into the future - If you want kids then make sure he wants them too or if he already has kids then he may not want anymore. Also, beware that some guys in their 40's have to depend on the "blue pill". If you have a high sex drive then you may not want to have to keep reminding him to take that blue pill. I have a friend that is going through it right now and the sexual frustration is not fun.

They get along as long as they live 2 hours away? If they move closer and see each other more often, won't they start to fight?

i'm assuming that the older person is less mature, that's why the suituation is working. I'm betting that the younger one will eventually want someone in his own age range.

Love is love regardless. once you're quite in love with one yet another and not in any respect pleasant the stereotypes of trophy spouse and sugar daddy then I say extra means to you. adult men take longer to mature frequently besides, so why not? bypass for it. It shouldn't count number number how society sees it, all that ought to opt to count number number is the way you word it. a variety of of folk concept my mom changed into gold digging because my dad changed into twenty years older than she changed into, yet human beings nevertheless communicate at present about how they have not in any respect seen a pair extra in love and my father kicked the bucket in 1990. Had his premature lack of existence not surpassed off, i'm particular that they had be celebrating 30 years of marriage come September.

I think so.

I have a harder time dealing with the distance involved with the relationship than the age.

Age is a number.

Travel time to and from work kills relationships.

Probably not unless the woman is immature and the guy is mature.
