First they get angry. Then turn tables around like everything is your fault. Is it some defense mechanism, that manifests itself first from embarrassment to anger?

P.S. I'm not scorned.

It has to do with pride, and being defensive is annoying especially when all you want is closure...nobody wants to get caught in a lie...I can see why they would do or say anything to get themselves out of it. I think it also has to do with their maturity level.

I think it IS a defense mechanism that they use.

"Baby, I am so angry that you told me you were going to clean the house today and then you didn't! Don't tell me you are going to do something and then not do it."
"Well, you know what? Maybe I am tired from working and I just wanted to enjoy my day off and sit on my butt all day. God forbid I have ONE day!"

I know how it goes. If I tell you I am pissed at you, don't turn it around like it's all my fault. A lot of guys have problems admitting that they ****** up... oh well, I still love em.

When guys are caught in a lie, they do try to turn the tables and make you feel like you are the one that did something wrong. You either misunderstood, he can't believe that you would believe someone else over him, or its really all your fault. Most guys are not man enough to take the responsibility of their actions.

Well, yeah. Guys do it, women do it do -- so it's a human nature thing.

When you get caught in a lie, you have a couple of choices: confess and apologize, or deny and distract.

Of course, you could also not lie in the first place -- that's what I do -- but it doesn't seem to be a very popular option these days.

it is a defensive mechanism. cant explain it just happens. thats why u dont tell lies in the first place. a lie will always come back an haunt you. i dont tell my wife lies. im not like that.

but heres a ? for you tho.
why do woman always ask a question when they already know the answer? lol

I know right. Its like they are trying to fool you into thinking it was actually your fault. You need to stay away from these types of guys. Men are simple, they will pick the most ridiculous way of handling something and stick with it and they dont take any responsibility for the things they do.

placed ur self in thier shoe u will make a similar element if u can do it... no one like to make an apology or 2 be to blame.. how you may teach tables round... the biggest element i believe that females in ordinary words who can make adult men love her or they are bored from her.... God ought to have greated adult men beforehand women human beings yet there is continually a raft draft beforehand the carry close piece.. SO u are the carry close rulling each and every thing .. u can make him cheat or lie and u can make each and every thing undercontol.... If it really is not less than ur administration he have the right to cheat and lie... and on that case it really is ur fault

I believe it is because they don't want to take the blame for anything! My boyfriend is the same way! And I fixed that crap because when he tries to turn something I AM pissed off about back on me I refuse to talk to him until he admits that he was in the wrong! He has started to get the hint!

I have never had a table lie to me, but I'd confront it if it was keeping things like food and drink from me.
