Sorry, I can't limit it to just one thing. I've lived a long life. But I'll try to limit it to the Top ten things I have learned in my life:

Number 10.That “All men have not faith.”
Number 9: That “all things work together for good, to those who love the Lord and are the called according to His propose.”
Number 8: That God choose me, not me Him.
Number 7: That “God has called the weak, foolish, base and despised to confound the wisdom of the wise.”
Number 6: Not all who say: “Lord Lord shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Number 5. That “many shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons.”
Number 4. That “when I would do good, evil is present with me”
Number 3. That salvation is free, but it costs you everything to be a disciple.
Number 2. YHVH is faithful.
And the number One thing that I have learned in my life: That Yahoshua Messiah came in the flesh, lived a perfect, sinless, Holy life and was crucified for the sins of the world, including mine, and was raised again on the third day as proof of YHVH’s acceptance of the sin offering and was taken up into the heavenlies, where He awaits till the appointed time, to establish His kingdom upon this earth for one thousand years and then afterwards YHVH will judge all men by His Word’s He spoke on earth nearly 2,000 years ago.

I learned that I have a part in everything that happens in my life, good or bad. Knowing that I am partly responsible for the bad stuff too empowers me to keep from making the same mistakes twice. I am not a victim in my life. I am a volunteer. It is inspiring to take control of my life and be responsible.
