YES and to clsheffield2002... yeah they were not the only ones who refused to follow hitler but they were the only ones who were given the option of leaving by simply renouncing their faith. And that makes someone a hero. Standing up for what you believe in instead of taking the easy way out.

There is a time for war and a time for peace.

I consider the men who died defending the world against the evil of Hitler and his Nazi regime to be Heroes.

I consider the Jehovah's witnesses in Germany who died in peaceful rebellion against Hitler to be Heroes.

I do not consider the Jehovah's Witnesses who refused to fight against the evil of Hitler to be Heroes.

I do not consider the soldiers who fought in the Nazi army and murdered millions to be Heroes.

The Jehovah's Witnesses in each country proved that their allegiance was invested in loyalty towards God, and not to any human leader.

No, the heroes were the ones who died in a real war for a real reason. The real heroes were the ones who didn't die and had to live with the nightmares of combat and seeing their friends die right beside them.

How insulting to ask such a question - shame on you

No, they just proved loyalty to Jehovah. They weren't trying to seek any personal gain or recognition, just living life according to the Bible, the way all people should be.

no, they proved being faithful to their beliefs, caesars things to caesar (like paying taxes), but God's things to God (not engaging in war and not being patriotic in any country they reside in).
