during sleep most of the muscles are relaxing..so when wake up..i think it is a reaction to move them from that relaxing position..and after it of course..the smile may come

Because,sometimes,when you repeat the same routine,over and over,you start to get bored,but if you do different stuff,that makes you happy,(Like not going to school,vacations rock!) maybe you could start getting up with a wide smile,and if you didn't sleep too much last night,maybe you don't have the energy to hold up your smile,or you start with a bad mood.
Evreything depends.

Because it angers us to wake from that place of sweet relaxation, comfort, and perceived safety. Babies frown when they are born for the same reason.

Usually when I peek through my neighbors window and watch them sleep, I notice the same thing!!! I thought I was the only one that noticed.
