If you're 16 you don't want to have a child yet, trust me. Try 26.

First off, if you are 16 and not had a period, then you should definately get that checked out. Sixteen is way too old not to have started yet.
Second, I would like to know what 16 year old doesn't know how to get pregnant. My nine year old niece could tell you just from listening to kids at school, so please don't act dumb and say you don't know how, unless you have been locked in a cellar all your life.
Third, 16 is way too young to be thinking about having babies. Enjoy your life, there is time for having babies when you are old enough and mature enough to take care of the child, and not depend on government help.

you could be too skinny to get your period. you could be too stressed or not have the proper nutrition. you should see a ob/gyn and have a pelvic exam ( you should have already had this if you are sexually active). At 16, i doubt you have the emotional maturity or the finances to take care of a baby. So dont worry about that right now. Just see a doctor to make sure you are healthy.

It is normal for some girls not to get their periods until later. But it couldn't hurt to check with your doctor, just to make sure everything is ok. You may have a slight hormone imbalance.
Also, don't have a baby now! Enjoy you're youth - ask ANY young mothers and as much as they love their babies, I bet 99% will tell you they wish they had waited. I am not saying you need to be married (I don't preach) but it WILL be easier with 2 parents and you deserve to concentrate on YOU right now.

First of all, if you are incapable of forming a grammatcally correct sentance, then you are inacapable of raising a child! Also, age 16 is getting to be a bit old to not have had a period yet. You might want to go see a doctor about that.
Also, if you do not know how to become pregnant, then you are not old enough to be pregnant.

You are still young, some woman develop later than others. I'd say mention it to your pediatrition if it concerns you though. And it will not affect your having a baby in the future. You have lots of time before you'll be ready to have one and by then you'll have your period :)

You are WAY too young to even think about having a baby. Get through high school, college, and get married before you even think about having kids. Babies are a lot of work, and no one is going to help you with them.

Yes go to a doctor. If you don't know how to get a baby, you're way to young to raise one. Have babies later when you're older, smarter and can afford to raise one. Diapers and food and money don't grow on trees.

Please go to the doctor or free clinic in your area. Does not sound like you are ready to have a baby. Talk to your doctor about birth control and STD's. Do it now.

I agree with Sir J. But it would not hurt you to go see a doctor.
