yeah they did, which makes it so odd that many christians are conservatives. meaning that they don't want things to change. i think the most interesting christians are those that change our (society's) perceptions on how good a person can be.

Jesus spoke with authority and not like one of the Pharisees. Those who "rocked the boat" in disobedience toward God were all put down. Since Jesus is God to do the same against His words will bring the same result they will go down..

Because it is now mainstream to be a "christian". The real nonconformist attitude amongst those in search of God's truth is to actually do what the Bible says to do. to rock the boat is to push others in their quest to find a deeper relationship with God. As far as being anti-God, it is only if you are trying to turn people away from Him.

Modern Christianity has been hijacked by the rich, or TV Preachers wanting poor people to send them money for a prayer cloth. The true message of the bible is to the poor and meek, not rich theives who use the name of Jesus to steal from the sick, old or uneducated.

ANTI-GOD.... you just answered your own Question. If you are anti God you are an enemy of God. Those you mention, escept for Jesus who is God, were Godly men who screwed up some. But they were not anti-God.
