I'm tired of people coming in illegally. Anyone who wants to can sneak into America. There should be a big wall and a huge border patrol. Right?

To make way for the California Speedway in Fontana, CA to be built, the Kaiser Steel Mill had to be demolished. The mill had been bought by the Chinese, who sent workers to America to do the job of shipping it overseas.
The workers, all Chinese Nationals were kept in close quarters and supervised constantly. The had no opportunity to defect. When the job was completed, every single Chinese National was accounted for, put on a plane and sent back to China to reconstruct the Mill.
Now, THAT is a Guest-Worker program that I can support!! The term "Guest-Worker" implies that the workers eventually have to go HOME.
Let the Mexicans come here to pick the crops. Let them take that crop-picking money back to Mexico when they are done. They don't need to be citizens here! American citizens should NOT shoulder the financial burden for the education and health care for people that do NOT belong here!
I support the House Bill. The Senate Bill, no matter how they spin it, is Amnesty, pure and simple. Just like 20 years ago, but 10 times the poulation growth.

We'll there should be something to divide the borders I would hate to see a brick wall while driving near the border though. I also agree that eventually some idiot racist groups will go along tagging on the wall and just express their feelings in a less well civilized manner.

If we put a wall up yeah desperate people will dig under to cross over. But think about it... If Mexico was that corrupt and ****** up they wouldn't migrate over here for a "better" life style.

Agreed there's nothing we can do about Mexico's Government because their own police are criminals. How safe right?

There must be another way to solve all these immigrations problems. Our "President" really needs to sit down and think call a meeting and discuss issues with not only the government but the people.

You tell me. Drug gangs, ID theft, human trafficking, god only knows what else goes on along/across our borders. Mexico's the worst of it, that we know of, so far, and it needs to stop. Putting in the fence will at LEAST limit down the number of people moving into the United States from Mexico, bearing unknown 'gifts' and equally unknown bearers. I'm not saying all mexicans are criminals, I'm saying that the border has become a Problem.
We may end up building another one with Canada, too, all depends, if Canada becomes a gateway into america for problems, then we'll have 2 fences. Fences don't stop all things, but they could sure help in some ways...I think one thing the border fence will also do is build public awareness across the country that There Is A Problem. Local enforcement against employers is another good step, as well as curtailing social/public services. Country's 8.4 trillion in debt. Do YOU support the Minutemen?

Sometimes i wonder why it took our government so long to put up some walls between us and Mexico. Then i found out why, the walls are to keep them from returning to Mexico.
If the Mexicans who came here illegally had to join the military and go to Iraq before becoming American citizens, you'd see them make a mad dash back to Mexico. There would not be any more illegals here. Isn't this a novel idea?

We're supposed to be a free and open society; in the early days of this country, we were ALL immigrants. No, there should not be a wall between America and Mexico. Besides, a wall can be scaled, blown up, or tunneled under. Why not try a number of 'entry offices' where immigrants can come and apply for legal entry into this country? -RKO-

Oh sure, because we can only help nations with oil and even though Latin America is stuggling because of our exploitation we should block out those who want a better life.
PS. And 50% of undocumented immigrants (not necessarily Mexican or Latino) come through Canada's border. Let's just isolate ourself like we did in the 30's. Because that turned out so well....

I agree..........And not because I want all the mexicans out like most people would say........BUT simply because its not right.....

Why do they get to come in freely and what nots......I cant just sneak into Africa or England if I'd like.....Theres no sneaking into Canada and surely none of them can just sneak into the US so why is Mexico so priviledged..........

They need to send out the dogs on all their asses~~ hahaha

But yes there needs to be a border wall and ALL of the troops in IRAQ should come here and REALLY protect the "HOMELAND"!!!!

BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!!!!! atleast then they'd be doin the world or the US atleast some good........because over there they aint doin nothin but risking and giving up their lives when those people cant be talked or negotiated out of their ways.........

Let them kill themselves keep our people out of it.........!!!!

I definitely agree with you. They should build a huge wall and a huge border patrol, like you just said.

That's something they've been working on since the late 1960s or early '70s. Back then they were calling it "the tortilla curtain". Wall, fences and locks only keep out "honest" criminals. If they want to get here they'll go over, under, through, around, or whatever it takes to get here. "The Tortilla Curtain" will only slow them down a little.

There is a fence up right now. I think even if there was a wall, people would still try to climb over. I think they should put up an electric fence that would shock anyone who tried to climb over.
