Thanks for all of your answers. I know some people have been debating over this for a while now so I just wanted to see what everyone thought. For those of you that obviously know nothing about this, check this out.

that is strange I never knew that looked it up
WaW is the 6th letter in the hebrew alphabet
Aleph 1
behth2
Gimel 3
Daleth 4
He 5
Waw 6 By using the first letter in each sequence it would be
666 So yes you would be right that is how they would say it
That's pretty clever how did you figure that out?

lol,
in a way it could. the "w" is transliterated into hebrew as either a "v v" or just a "v" (which is the numerical value of 6). So, www would be the same as "v.v.v.v.v.v" or "v.v.v" (more likely the former). However, even assuming the latter (v.v.v), "w.w.w" would most likely be understood as 18 (6*3), not 666 though.

I might add that "666" is of no significance to jews. I suppose it is a christian idea.

p.s. don, both shin and sin have the numerical value of 300. I suppose I should be wary of "asking don" in the future.

If the Hebrew equivalent of "W" is the vav/waw, it is actually 18 or "6+6+6". Depends on what kind of gematria you use, though. Greek gematria tends to add the digits, while Hebrew gematria varies greatly.

Doesn't matter to me either way. I believe that the Roman Emperor Nero was the Anti-Christ.

I would like to add that nodes end in 6. Remember that computers used to be called 286, 386 and so forth?
Some mathematicians said that 666 meant 'man making himself God'.

Not at all. There are two Hebrew letters that look like the letter W.

Sin and Shin.

Neither have any numerical qualities.

It could be, but if you turn it upside down then it would be MMM (which is the equivalent to "Attention WalMart Shoppers" in Gaelic!)
