I've never been to chruch. What is it? It is before or after English class?

First of all if you think church is boring, then you have never been to a Southern Gospel Meeting in Mingo County, WV. There is much singing & praising of the Lord and then the preaching, such as you have never heard before. When I walk through the doors of my church there is a contentment that surrounds me and when I leave I take it home with me. Boring is not a word I would ever use when describing my church services. I would suggest you get sincere with God and he will enlighten you so that you will find peace & contentment when you go into a church.

What are you bringing to worship? Anything? You should bring your hunger for God, your need to receive his word, and your love and thankfulness to the heavenly Father. If you come like a bump on a log, well sure you're going to be bored. As you sing and pray either in unison or silently, see how the words may speak to you. And even the worse sermons have a message for someone who is seeking God's will.

I don't think Chruch is boring at all. I enjoy my time there.
You must be going to the wrong Church.

The ChRches I attend are not at all boring.
I suppose that's because I can WORSHIP and PRAISE THE GOD!
I enjoy listening to the pastor doing his sermon - and analyze it as he preaches. Any argument or questions -- and he is happy to converse later about it.
If there is any special music I like they try and get it in to their lists!
I am happy to find anyone who wishes a list of churches to check out in their own town! Just call on me!

Because the preacher isnt talented enough or gifted to give a good sermon to make you sit up and take notice .A good sermon will not be boring find another church if it is

Depends on what church you're talking about. If you are talking about a Bible believing church it's because you don't belong to the heavenly family of God. Therefore you feel bored and out of place.

I think it depends on what you consider boring - my grandma told me only boring people get bored - we have exciting times and never a dull moment at our church - might want to try out a new church - or perhaps a new attitude.....

Maybe its just the one you attend thats boring, try going to different churches they all don't have boring pastors

actually, there is a book abt this - i will try yo find the title - called something abt "why men hate church" - i think that 2 many churches try to "tame " men into "nice guys". who wants that? i suggest reading john eldridge's "wild at heart" enjoy.
