Actually, there is no good way to localize fat loss. Sit-ups and crunches are good, and they can help you lose the appearance of fat in the belly by building muscle there, but you'll lose just as much fat from your stomach that way as any other way of losing fat.
To lose the fat on your stomach (and, alas, elsewhere) I'd recommend jogging or other cardiovascular excercise.

Sorry the human body does not work like that, there is no such thing as "spot reduction".
When you exercise, no matter what form of exercise, your body burns body fat in all areas of your body, unfortunatly the stomach is usually the last to go.
Try and form of aerobics (jogging, walking, cycling, etc) to get rid of your belly, and do some weight training to fill out the rest of your body. Good Luck.

Crunches, all different kinds. Bicycle kicks, traditonal, ones with your legs in a 45 degree angle in the air.
You could search the internet for differnt varieties.
Thats why I like crunches more because you dont get bored easily, instead of those sit-ups

sit ups and crunches will improve muscle tone in the area
which may very well be all you really need. if you do
have extra fat in the area, the only spot reduction is
lipo which has side effects you need to be aware of.
