i love dogs. i grew up not with 5-7 at a time, but i went through so many dogs. however i'd either give them away or something. i've had different times, there was one that stayed with me since i was a kid al the way til i got older but she got old and past away. yeah i think dogs make the greatest pets, they like to play with you and give you that companion feeling. good for watching the house. everything.

I love dogs. And I have had stray dogs droped off here all the time, people come by and just leave them, I can recall some of the names, Daisey, Buster, Lucky, Sarge, Princess, and like, six others, most the time they had been beat and strarved, just two days ago, a beagle was droped off here at our house. We always feed them, take them to the vet and love them, and also find goog homes for them if they can't stay with us.
The most I had at a time was five. Two Boston Terriers, Nibbles and Bits, they were sisters. Sarge, a german shepherd/huskey mix. And then, Ginger and Spotty, brother and sister Fox Terrier/Chauhiuahua mix.
I now only have four dogs, Spot got hit by a car. I think there is no better companie then a dog. They are so loyal and smart, and trustworthy. They make us humans look like idiots!!!! They are so kind and sweet, and with all the trouble going on know, I sometimes wonder if dogs are from our planet! I am around dogs 24/7 and thats not liying. They are such good animals. I love them more than anything, ANYTHING. I know have all the dogs I said up there expect for Sarge and Spot. I now have a black labrador retriver named Zoey. She is such a fabloues dog, I love her so much.

I have ALWAYS had dogs. I have had at least 12 throughout my childhood, and now have 2 dogs, 2 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, and some fish. I love all my animals, but the dogs are the best. I have severe depression, and there is nothing better than having a bad day and coming home and no matter what your dog is always there and always loves you. They always want to play and smother you with doggie kisses, it's the best.

My parents used to raise and show old english sheepdogs. When i was born MaryMary had just birthed a litter of 10 puppies, so she assumed i was one as well. Anytime i cryed MaryMary would race to my crib before my mom could even get there. LOL. We had 13 dogs in total. Now i just have my One dog a pug. I work at a petstore so im around dogs vertually all day. I think dogs make wonderful pets, I also enjoy other animals, and i would consider my birds to be as close of companions to me as my pug.

I Love dogs. At this time I have 1bichon frese, 1 Yorkie, 3 English bulldogs and 2 shih-tzu. Two shih-tzu are the youngest are are wonderful company for me my foster children and grandchildren.Dogs help lower stress blood pressure and make us all laugh and show so much love that it is contagious. I also have pet birds. Our parrot know them all by name and will call them up. Our parrot also throws her bird feed down to the dogs, especially her favorite one. She can bark like a dog, cry like a baby. Pets get along great if you introduce them slowly to each other and give them time to except each other. Great company. They are part of our family.

heres an answer to your question, I lived in a rural area for many years, everyone dropped off dogs and cats and just left them I don't remember all their names it's been a long time ago but we ended up having 14 dogs in one year and there was 6 of us kids that had a dog named for every month of the year and then some, but when people started dropping off their unwanted cats and kittens then my dad drew the line, someone even dropped off a boa constrictor, which my dad killed with a hoe and a shovel because we had a baby in the house, my dad went to the library and red up on snakes and I remember him saying ain't no way it's going to stay here!We ended up calling the local sheriffs department and they started setting up watches on whom was dropping off the animals, cause dad was fed up with the whole mess. I don't run a kennel here for stray animals one dog is all you kids get, so we chose a cocker sheltie mix best, dog we ever had, her name was sugar-foot, she was blonde and had white feet, she lived to be 18 years old before we put her down and buried her on our property with a monument.

No, we were a cat family. A dog bit me when I was 5. I'd rather not be around them at all.
