I think the problem with bread is the carbs. They turn into sugar and that turns into fat. It is better to eat the whole grain bread instead of the white bread, as the white bread will make your blood sugar levels rise much more quickly than the 100% whole grain bread.

I don't know the answer to part of your question, as I don't know the fat content of bread. It is on every label, though, and varies from brand to brand.
Bread has good nutrients in it and is not "bad", unless . . .
Whole grain bread is better for you than "enriched" white wheat bread. The reason for this is whole grains are lower in natural sugar than the more processed "enriched" bread. This seems to be the same for all grains and cereals, that the less processed they are, the lower in natural sugar they are.
Low natural sugar is neither bad nor good, unless you are diabetic or pre-diabetic (which can include low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), obesity, and possibly heart trouble). If your body is having problems keeping sugar balanced in the bloodstream, then low natural sugar foods are better for you.

It depends on the type of bread... and how it's cooked. But if you're talking about things like white or wheat brea- which are common breads- the fat content is very small.
Bad fats are saturated fats and trans fats. In bread there is like 0.1g of saturated fat... You aren't going to find much more than 0.4g of saturated at... That leaves you with 0.6g of the good fats- fats that your body needs to burn to give you energy to function.
Mono and poly unsaturated fats are good good good becuase they not only give you needed energy, but they lower your bad cholestorol and raise your good cholesterol.
In my opinion, the best bread you could have for your body is whole wheat- wheat is healthier than bleached flour becuase of the added vitamins and the effect it has on cholesterol.

It doesnt have fat. It has carbs. White bread has more carbs. Dont worry about the number of calories. Calories are alright as long as its not fatty. If youre concious you should eat brown or whole wheat bread. Its better in terms of health.

Not much fat in bread. It's very good for you, if you choose whole-wheat. However there are a lot of carbs, and if you're worried about gaining weight or you're trying to lose weight, stay away from too many carbs.

It's relative. I mean it's better for you than ice cream or lard.
But not as good as whole foods like squash or kale. What do you put on it, butter? Jelly? Vegemite? If you are going to eat bread make sure it is 100% whole grain bread. And don't put anything on it.

Read the label on the packaging, the info is all there. If you are afraid of this and that, you will never eat anything. A wise doctor once told me, eat everything, but in moderation. Remember when doctors said salt was bad for you, now they say it is ok.
