The bear. ( I had a rottweiler and the smell of a bear made him cower.) Even though it would be a cub, the mother wouldn't be very far off.

The bear because to be the size of a rottweiler it would have to be a baby like others are saying, but where there are baby bears there's a mama. The mama bear would come out to defend her baby so the Rot would have no chance.

if they were the same size, i'd say the rottweiler. because the rottweiler would have all the strength in its body plus its speed, and tho they both got a mouthful of teeth and the bear got claws, the rott will be faster and have its advantages

Bear. Paws and claws down. Pound for pound a bear can kill just about anything. Huge frigging teeth and a mouth that can swallow your head. Claws that can rip open a rotting tree trunk like it was toilet paper. A dog could run around the bear and bark at it so you could shoot it with a really, really big gun.

In an overwhelming number of cases, your dog would scare away a full grown bear. Bears are not really agressive, so they tend to avoid conflict. And a rotweiler's bark is one of the loudest, deepest barks I've ever heard. I think your dog would win by default.

all depends on what kind of bear. i would have to say though a bear. they have huge claws and big teeth.
