Complicated question....
First, we really can't afford to go to war with anyone else at the moment. It isn't like WWII where war stimulated our economy. Because our military is so expensive, war is crippling both economy and government in favor of defense industry corps.
Now, aside from the fact that it is economically impossible, there is the other reason we didn't wipe out North Korea the last time we fought there--which is China. I seriously doubt we want to provoke China.
Is NK's potential nuclear arsenal worth a war eventually? Maybe, but not without China's blessing. And if we have China's blessing, we probably won't need to go to war.

No, despite our Warlord Bush, we should not go to war unless it is a very last result. Not like Iraq where we went to war on the whim of a stupid man.
Hopefully there are a few calm minds that will try to deal with Korea in other ways. For this War would probably be the last war ever!

Technically, we've been at war with North Korea since the 1950s, An armistice was signed in 1953, but the war has never officially ended.

well technically we are already at war with them,hence the 30 thousand troops on the DMZ. but it would be better to convince Russia and china that it is in their best interest to reign n. Korea in.
