if i stop eating or drinking water and die of "natural" causes?

I wouldnt object to others feeding me and paying my rent and other bills, id be damned if im going to do it any longer.

so its not suicide in my opinion, im just to lazy to care for myself,

Ive read many of your answers and dont understand, suicide has to be an intentional act of harm, not caring for myself still leaves room for god or someone else to intervene.

get over it, quit crying, man up, and handle it. we all have problems, i fight with one everyday, so deal with it.

Still Suicide, you know you are killing yourself and not attempting to stop it. Try prayer instead, you may not think so but if you get sincere in talking to the Lord he will bring a peace beyond your understanding to your life and you have a reason for living. Believe me, I know.

Ummm... if you stop eating and drinking you are killing yourself. How can you even question whether or not it's suicide. That's like asking 'if i shoot myself is that suicide?'... if you starve yourself and die from it, it might take longer than shooting yourself, but of course it's still suicide. I don't recommend it by the way.

Yes, because you purposefully shut down your body. Call a hotline to get help. Suicide is not a good thing to do. You will not be able to regret it, but you will cause ur loved ones alot of pain and misery.

If you stopped eating and drinking with the intention of dying, then yes, that would be classified as suicide.

I did a project on euphanisie (french spelling, i know) but it's when someone wants to die, but not by activly killing themselves.

There are two kinds of suicide:

Active: when someone does something to kill themselves

Passive: when someone does not do something essential to keep themselves alive (ie. eat, drink, accept medical care)

So by what you are saying, by not meeting your basics for survival, yes, you would indeed be commiting suicide.

It becomes Suicide as soon as you go against the natural wants of the body to maintain life.... Once you override the natural warnings of the body to feed itself.. then you have invoked your wish for death.

yea...because it was a personal decision to stop, it's not like you died because there wasn't any available to you, or someone locked you in a room w/o it!

Anyway...I hope you don't do it, once you have kids, you'll be sick just thinking you ever thought that way!

i dont think not drinking water could kill you . i dont drink it and im alive. but not eating . yea it would kill you you would die of starvation and personally i think it would be classed as suicide
