I've thought about it, but honestly, wheres the art in cutting ones self? Would it not seem more poetic to cut someone else instead? Think about it. A boy is torn apart because his life absolutely sucks, he's sitting in his room, knife in hand, and he's crying as if it were the day of his parents funeral. He puts on his favorite hat and walks out the door of his house to the corner store. He is still crying so hard that he can barley see, he walks into the store and starts slashing the first person that he confronts. He slashes and slashes but the person doesnt respond. Hes cutting this poor persons arm with such hate that he wishes that he could cut through the bone...... He then wakes up in his room with a bloody and arm and begins to cry because he still alive.

I used to. The best thing I ever did was tell my parents about my problem. I reccomend you do the same. Cutting can get very serious very fast. It's also clinically proven to be an addictive habit, just like smoking or drinking. You need to stop soon because otherwise you are likely to cut deeper or more often, and that can become life threatening. Seek help, and resisit the urge to hurt yourself. Instead, try going into the kitchen and stab, say, the cutting board instead. Find other ways to release your pain and stress, and then, like I said, find someone (an adult) to talk to about your problem. Things will get better. Trust me, I've been there!

whenever you feel like you need to cut yourself, try to make yourself as busy as possible, finding a different outlet for your pain helps, just something that absorbs you concentration and makes you forget about your need for cutting. talking to someone can sometimes help, but sometimes there are things that cant be helped by talking, find a hobby, be silly with friends, distract yourself. also, a nice deterrent is to think of the scars, they can take years to fade, and sometimes never do. that must be an incentive to stop somehow xx

in 10 years when you've gotten your head out of whatever *** that makes you want to slice and dice yourself--you'll be sitting in front of me, your first REAL money-paying job, the big one, the one that you can buy a house on, the one that will pay for the red convertible and a vacation every year in Jamaica.
And I'll see your scars and I'll say WHAT THE HELL IS THAT???
Except I wont say it to your face, but I'll talk about it and we'll all agree that that's what it is...AND YOU WONT GET THE JOB.

Hi,
used to when I was a teen. I was in an abusive family situation.
Now, I have terrible scars. Even though I got away from the abuse the scars remain. If you or someone else is doing this, STOP and get help please.
