Did you notice that EVERYTHING we eat or drink has come from something living except salt and water? If you can name anything else, please let me know.

Also, don't say milk. Milk came from a cow. Don't say sugar. Sugar came from a plant. Etc. I'm looking for something that was never living. Strictly something natural that we consume.

our body can tolerate a lot of synthetic chemicals like those used in preserving food. tartrazyne if im not mistaken is synthetic. also, minerals do not come from living things so you can include them .( vitamins come from fruits and veggies though)
