you can use any kind of alcohol that sounds good to you. Here are some ideas:

6oz box Jello
2 cups hot water
1 cup (+/- to taste) desired alcohol

green apple jello (if you can find it, it was discoed by Kraft.) and wild apple vodka

Gin and Lime Jello (one of my favorites!)
Tequila and Lime or Lemon Jello
Light Rum and Berry (Strawberry especially)
Vodka works in any flavor (Blue Jello is cool, so is watermelon)
Use peach Jello and sub Hot OJ for water and use Vodka...YUM
Use Cranberry Jello, Hot Cranberry Juice. Get some dried cranberries and soak them in vodka over night. This turns the vodka a nice red and very flavorful. Then you use the vodka in the jello shot and you can put a few cranberries in the Jello Shot. Way Yum.

6 ounces Jello (large package)
16 ounces Water (boiling)
6 ounces Water (cold)
10 ounces Vodka

Mix the jello mix with the boiling water until the powder is fully dissolved and add the cold water and alcohol. Pour the cooling mixture into either shot glasses or paper cups. Shot glasses are more attractive, but drinker can turn the paper cups inside-out to more easily eat the alcoholic jello.

Good luck!!! =]

Make the jello according to pkg directions substituting alcohol for the cold water. If you are using vodka you might want to increase the water and decrease the vodka (they may taste a little strong). I like to experiment. Try pineapple jello w/ malibu (pina colada), or fruit flavored jello w/ the same flavor pucker, watermellon jello w/ watermellon pucker tastes like a jolly rancher. Also try green apple jello w/butterscotch schnapps (carmel apple). I like to use the little plastic cups w/lids that they sell in food supply stores. Easy to pack up and take along. Refrigerate 4-5 hours.

Just fix the jello as directed, but instead of the cold water, mix vodka and water. Don't replace all the cold water with vodka, it won't set then. About half and half is good. You can try other liquors like everclear but vodka tastes the best.

The box of jello calls for one cup hot water and one cup cold water. Put the bottle of vodka in the freezer to make it as cold as possible. I recommend flavored vodka! Follow directions on the box with one cup boiling water mixed with jello mix and then add one cup cold vodka instead of one cup cold water. These make excellent jello shots!

Lime, 1/2 cup tequila, 1/4 cup water (you can add 1/2 lime juice)
Orange, 1/2 cup vodka, 1/4 cup water (add 1/2 orange juice)
Pineapple, 1/2 cup dark rhum, 1/4 cup coconut milk
Cranberry, 1/2 cup vodka, 1/4 cup grapefruit juice or water

they are all yummy! for all, add the poweder Jello to the hot water, dilute with the liquor, then chill well in your favorite shapes. I usually like to use individual cups that I buy at party stores - the mini cups used for ketchup in restaurants.

Eat responsibly!!! ppl get terribly drunk on these.

Follow the recipe on the box, but instead of cold water use chilled vodka. If you don't want to use that much vodka, add water to the vodka to equal the entire "cold water" part of the recipe.
