There are many like you. Some of my favorite Christians believe the same thing. Kudos!
My friend that I live with asked "why is everyone fighting about this? Why won't anyone just stop and think for a second, like God couldn't have created evolution."

Do u think u can be at 2 places at a tym.Well u either got to believe in Creation or evolution.BIBLE don't teach evolution but only creation.U were created as human and now Ur grown. In case of evolution why haven't u evolved into pig,dog or something else than just being human.
U simply cant evolve into something cause u have been created in the image of GOD.

Joshua put it best when he said, " choose you this day which God you will serve. Even revelation 3 says to be Hot or cold and not in the middle. You cant trust God or believe His word enough so you add evolution to it. Also in Revelation 3 He tells all those who cant pich a side that He wishes they would be hot or cold, as to say i wish you were completly against me than to be 90% in the middle. You cant have it both ways either you believe creation or you believe evolution. And also, if you dont believe God destroys people because of their unrepentence then read the story of Joshua and Jerico and what God told them to do after the walls came down, and also soddom and gamorrah. Ever human isnt a child of God only the born again believers, simply because He called the pharisees children of the devil. If you cant believe Gods Word then you cant know the truth without it.

Yes. There are millions.
It's significant to note that Darwin came up with evolution for religious reasons, not scientific ones. He had lost his daughter to a tragic accident and became bitter at God for allowing it to happen. He concluded that no god would allow such things, therefore there must be no God. So the problem became how to account for the existence of the universe without a "god" to create it - hence evolution was invented.
As Darwin was pushing his "theory", a scientist named Gregor Mendel was doing work on genetics. The evolutionists of the day dismissed Mendel's work because it contradicted Darwin. In less than one hundred years Mendel's work was completely verified and evolution had to be "modified" to fit what evolutionists previously and wrongly scoffed at.
This type of thing has happened several times over the years: Pasteur disproved the theory of Spontaneous Generation; Gaps in the fossil record forced Steven J. Gould to come up with his far-fetched "punctuated equilibria" theory; fossils found in the "wrong" strata have forced evolutionists to come up with all kinds of wild theories to explain away the obvious fact that their theory has serious holes in it.
I suggest that you surf the web for books and websites on the subject. Find out all you can. That's what I did. Remember, the word science means knowledge - seek knowledge and don't be afraid that facts will contradict your faith, they won't.
Evolution actually takes more faith than creationism does because evolution basically states that the universe caused itself, whereas creation implies that the universe was caused by something beyond itself..."religious" people call that something God.

I Play in the praise team at my church I also have chosen to be cryogenically suspended and I struggle with this weekly. I also believe in Divine creation and Evolution. An interesting movie to watch that promotes science and a divine being is "What the Bleep" short for "What the bleep do we know" nothing to do with evolution but it does do a great job of blending science and God or a higher being it helps to put this all into perspective. >What’s incorrect with believing in creation And Evolution? You advise, except that the former of both has truly no data to help it and an excellent quantity of information adversarial to it? >The Bible makes use of metaphor, parable, and symbolism to describe divine truth (it quite is a secret). Then the question turns into, WHY did it use metaphor, parable and symbolism? does not it were a lot a lot less demanding, and a lot less puzzling and deceptive, if God had merely stated the precise truth in the Bible without disguising it in any respect? there is not any reliable rationalization why the first financial disaster of Geneis ought to not start up '13 billion, seven-hundred and 80-seven million, fifteen thousand 8 hundred and ninety-six years in the past, God created the Universe out of a tiny element by using increasing area and dividing the 4 mandatory forces out of the primordial quantum vacuum'. Why did God not write precisely that? even if that is so significant that we remember on him, why does he seem attempting so demanding to conceal himself from us? It merely would not compute. A deistic god is significantly extra lifelike, and the most logical perspective in any respect is that no gods exist in the first position. >thinking Genesis changed into written about 5000 years in the past, doesn’t it make experience it does not clarify evolution if that changed into the case? Excuse me. If the deity you're speaking about changed into effectual adequate to create the completed Universe out of nowhere, fairly he does not enable himself be dissuaded by using the medical lack of understanding of primitive civilizations? The Bible is meant to be a e book of revelation and non secular truth, yet if what you're asserting is the case, then curiously God has determined that coddling to early civilizations' lack of medical information is extra significant than pointing out the honestly data. Like I say, it merely would not upload up; no real deity may do some thing like that. >Is the Bible a technological know-how e book, a heritage e book, or a non secular e book about God’s courting to people? If it fairly does represent divine revelation from an omnisceint deity, there is not any reliable rationalization why it gained't be all 3, and there is almost certainly no reliable rationalization why it ought to get many of the first 2 downright incorrect. Writing blatant medical and historic falsehoods right into a e book isn't a competent thanks to get human beings to take heed to its non secular message, and a supremely wise deity may do not ignore that.

I'm also a Christian and I take no firm anti-evolution stance. I have no advanced education in biology and don't claim to understand evolutionary theory too well (although I think I understand it better than a lot of people who firmly believe in it.) The reason I take no firm stance one way or another is because (in addition to my lack of scientific qualifications) of the pettiness and bias I see on both sides of the "creation vs. evolution debate." It's always disappointing to me to see the sheer amount of emotion, bias, and contempt for dissent in the writings of so-called "scientists" who assert the validity of evolutionary theory. It's a THEORY, and among many scientists, a BELIEF that is cherished with every bit of passion, dogmatism, and orthodoxy you'll find among religionists.
Heck, it may be true. What I don't like is how people use evolutionary theory to try to "disprove" the existence of a creator.

I also belive this. The bible says that God created the world in seven days but he has been around for ever so its logical that he meusures time differently the we do, because he is not human. So, one "day" when the fish could have easily been thousand of years were he let a fish evole into a fish.

Yes, of course. The two are not necessarily totally imcompatible and there are scientists who have written whole books on the subject. I think one such author is Hugh Ross but I might have the name wrong. He came to speak to one of my classes in high school and that was a long time ago!

Sure, I believe that evolution is part of God's plan--and so do many other people. Otherwise, we'd probably have the mentality of the dumbest animals on earth.
