i mean i'm a virgin & hope to remain so until i meet a person i really love.(maybe this is because of my culture,i'm asian)by the questions asked,& the answers given,i see that a lot of people prefer non-virgins.i mean doesn't it bother you that your husband/wife has slept with other people before?there are even 12 year olds who are non-virgins.isn't sex supposed to be an intimate act between two people who are very much in love?just asking your opinion-cheers!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a virgin. To me that states that you are taking the time to know yourself so that you can find the perfect person to be intimate with in the future. I am also a virgin and I thank GOD everyday that I was not foolish enough to sleep with a guy just because everyone else was doing it. Now that I am older, I know what I want and I am willing to be patient to find it. Keep your head up and don't rush into it!

There is nothing wrong with being a virgin, there is nothing wrong with being a non-virgin. Intimacy is a personal thing, and I don't think anyone can dictate wht it should mean for everyone. Some people prefer experienced lovers because it allows them more experience of their own. While still others want virgins for religious, or personal reasons. If you are happy being a virgin, then be one! Don't let opinion sway your own judgment.

Non-virgins are more sexually experienced, so they are likely to be more sexually skilled and confident. As long as she isn't pregnant, infected with an STD, or still pining fo him, why should I care who she slept with last year, as long as she's with me now?
As for whether sex is supposed to be between two people who are very much in love: yes, sex under those curcumstances can be marvelous. But if you don't happen to currently be one of a couple who are very much in love, while you're looking for that, sex between two people who like each other and are attracted to each other can be a lot of fun too. As long as no one gets pregnant or catches any nasty diseases, why not?

There is nothing wrong with being a virgin. I applaud you for being so. You are one in a million I am sure. Some of these girls have sex to be in the "IN" crowd. I am glad to hear you aren't like that.
