You can get a good Pioneer CD player for around $100 and one with a MP3 hookup for around $200, so you should just save up and do it that way. The cassette adapter is a waste of money and won't do your music any justice. A new CD player would make the entire system sound a lot better too (more wattage, cleaner sound) good luck.

FM transmitters are better than cassettes. But no neither sound very good compared to CD quality. The best option is a car CD reciever.

my car doesn't have a cd player either so i use a cassette adapter for my ipod. it work's well for me, i don't have any complaints. the quality is the same as it would be if i were listening to my radio. i think it is deffinetly worth the money since they are pretty cheap. i was thinking about getting an iTrip but i honestly think i would be wasting my money since the cassette adapter works just fine.

well if ur as paranoid as i am about getting top quality sound, no. but if u just care about listening to music so that you have something to listen 2, they're pretty good.
a few tips/suggestions:
don't leave your adapter in the car, severe heat and cold will damage the transfer quality just like they would damage a tape.
the quality of the transfer slowly begins to lower over time. n about 1 yr, it will be notcably poorer than when u bought it.
my suggestion is to spend the extra 20 bux and get a radio transmitter, bc if you buy another tape adapter to replace one that fried, the radio adapter would have already payed 4 itself. good luck with th project!!!

properly a pair issues, u can get a special sprint unit and use a Ipod RCA cable it quite is $7 at radioshack or by using a competent FM Transmitter from someplace like objective or radioshack there $60-$70 and are soo properly worth it in the destiny as a replace of utilising sooo many CD's, i had a similar issue.

you can buy a cd player for as little as 100 dollars. save the money and go buy one. or the fm adapter. if you can read and follow instructions, go to www.crutchfield.com and buy a cd player, it will come with all the necessary hardware to hook it up.

FM transmitters are only as good as the distance they are from your antenna, the power they put out and if thier powered from batteries or your cigarette lighter. I've always had good luck with them, but then I also built my own. (.5 watt goes pretty far, about two city blocks)
Tape adapters aren't too bad.

it depends on what casette adapter you use, they make a high quality one for like 30 bucks......they also make fm transmitters that might be the best way to go if you have an fm stereo
