I had a mole removed on my back. It was itching and I was afraid it could be something more than just an ordinary mole.
The doctor applied some kind of solution on it, there was some discomfort which lasted for a little while. The mole dropped off after about 10 - 12 days. There was a white spot where the mole was, but the white spot disappeared after a while.

Well, not myself!! The doc did it.
The scarring depends on where it is. On the chest and back, it will leave some pretty good scars. Pretty much everywhere else, the scarring fades over to nothing over time.
No complications.
If you are thinking of not doing it because of the scarring, remember that they are removing it to check for cancer. Its better to have a small scar than skin cancer.

I had one removed years ago as a teenager. I had no problems from it.
they called it a "beauty mark" but I didn't think it was very beautiful.
