Girl what is your problem if you really like this guy than who cares... you shouldn't. One of my friends is engaged to a guy that seems not attractive physically, but when you get to know him you know why she chose him!

If you care more about your friends opinions of the way this person your dating looks like then the way the person your dating will feel when you throw a blanket over him/her when your friends come around, then maybe you shouldn't be dating them. Feelings don't stem from looks. If you care about someone, you accept them for everything. Either break up with this person or tell your friends that this guy/girl makes you very happy. If they're your friends (and not complete ***holes) they'll give him/her a chance.

Well give him a total make over! that would be fun. lol but seriously if you do not find yourself physically attracted but really like the person, you will grow to find him attracting. or you just dont care about him as much as you think.

Let your friends meet him after the make over. Sometimes a new haircut and hairdo can do the trick, along with some new clothes. Make sure his shoes are shiny clean!

Is this person your choice? Do you have a more enriched life because of him/her? Are you happy with him/her? If you can answer yes to these then what the @&%* do you care what anyone else thinks? Are these people in your relationship? Are they paying your bills? Will they have any major impact on your everyday life like your partner will? It sounds like you're in the one up competition mind-set. You want to be the one who is loved and admired and envied. Introduce your partner with pride. There's nothing more wonderful or envy inducing than a great, loving relationship with a good person. Note that, not a great looking person but a great person in general.

Do you like them? Yes, You've stated that.
Are they with them? No, You are.

So why is that a issue? Real friends accept your decisions no matter what. It sort of on the trust subject, They trust your decisions. If you really like this person, It doesn't matter what everyone else opinion is. Looks aren't everything when it comes to the real person at heart. This trip your friends are having may reflect how much they value you as a friend. If they truly consider you one, and are good friends themselves...You have nothing to worry about.

I hope I helped somewhat--Angel

Ah yes... Another dodo. Do you have a vacuum where your brain should be? IF THAT'S THE CASE WHY ARE YOU DATING HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE??? Tell you what. Drop him. Go for the physically attractive guy with the nice car, fat bank account and grand mansion who will:
a. cheat on you.
b. beat the living daylights out of you.
Maybe, you'll be happy then. I think he deserves better and he should be the one who's embarrassed.

I think if you care about someone it shouldn't matter what other people think. If he is a good man who treats you right then you should be damn proud of him, not ashamed at all, because there are many women out there searching for a man like that! I say show him off with your head held high.

If you really like this person then it should not matter what your friends think. If they are real friends then all that should matter was if you were happy or not. Dont be embarassed its not worth hurting the other persons feelings. You never know if they might feel the same way :)

You shouldn't care what your friends will think of him. If you truly care for the person that wouldn't be a question in your head. It shouldn't matter what his physical appearance looks like it should be his personality that really matters. So if you truly care for the person you won't care what your friends think about him.
