Only when needed. About 3-4 times per year unless she meets up with the skunk then she gets one after getting skunked.

Unless your dog is smelly you can get away with a bath every 3 months. Bathing a dog causes very dry skin if you bathe too much. Ask you vet what they recommend for the breed you have. My dogs are indoors most of the time and I bathe them about every 3 months and they have no detectable order in the house.

I usually give my dog a bath about once a month in the summer. In the winter i usually don't because it is so cold and my dog doesn't fit in the bath tub anymore. So in the winter I usually go every 2-3 months.

once a month is all that is needed for a dog unless its been into something it shouldnt have ...too many baths will make the dogs skin dry and give it dandriff, make it itchy. dogs have a natural oils in their skin to help with this itchy problem from dry skin. if your dog is shedding its seasonal coat brush it on a daily basis. if its not seasonal shedding and shedding excessive amounts then it is most likely its diet. call your vets office and ask to speak to the vet or the vet's assistant. unusual hair shedding could also mean illness

Not even once a month - unless they roll in something. As long as you brush often, you shouldn't have to bathe your dog more than once a month. Twice a year is plenty for a lot of small, indoor dogs.

You are only supposed to bathe your dog once a month, if that. If you bathe them to much it can mess with the natural oil in its fur. Not only that it can make them have dandruff and be all itchy.

We only bath ours when she needs it, ie smells bad or rolls in something. Dogs tend to have dry sensitive skin, and do not need as many baths as we think they do. Also try choosing a food that has fish oils in it or promotes a healthy shinny coat or ad a fish oil pill (available at your pharmacy over the counter) I just cut the gel pill in half and drizzle it over her food 1-2 times a week. Watch you don’t give them too much as you’ll notice their fur getting really oily really quick.
