After I got separated a little over a year ago - I tried a number of those Internet "dating" sites (starting first with match.com) and although I received an OK response... I did notice after a while that I was attracting the weirdest women (I know doesn't say much for me) this went on for some time... but the straw that broke the camels back for me was this woman who lived within a reasonable drive from me... kept stringing me along and calling or emailing me all the time... EVERY DAY... yet when I propose we meet... she'd get freaky on me and say something like... oh I don't know about that... this is after 3 to 4 months of bsing on the phone and by email. How much more did she have to know about me... cripe we exchanged enough information to go on the Newlywed show. I finally said... OK that's it... dropped the "relationship" and have never looked back at those sites. The woman did teach me a lesson... don't be in a hurry to date! Too many freakin' weirdos out there!

I think these all paid sites are having boats to respond to the candidate. So you will feel that you are getting to many responses. But in real, there are 5% or less, real candidates.
So its always better to register on free websites like connectingsingles.com, okcupid.com, craigslist.org, bookofmatches.com.
you will surely get genuine response form there.

Yes I have. It has been a little over a year. We were good friends then things became more serious between us. Sad to say we didnt work out, his work was more important. Sorry, no happy ending.

My friend met his match on true.com - they're happy and after dating for 2/3rds of a year are now happily living together.

but it seems like there are crazys on there.
A friend of mine met her husband.
i guess its just luck.
I have looked in a lot of cities.
just browsing.
seems like some cities have more quality woment than others.
chicago supply kinda sucks.
california is a good supply.
also NY has good quality.

i met mine on american singles. we met in october of 2004 moved from the east coast to CA in Feb 2005 and got married Feb 27, 05.

well i went out with one for about a month til we got our kids togeather and she slipped up .... one of her kids knocked our pizza on the floor at chucky cheese and she went crazy and started cussing and spanked him right there in front of us ...needless to say my daughter and i left and i cancled my match.com account ....lol....good luck ....
