There are many reasons why I believe in God but the question:
Does God Exist?
."—RomansSome Scientists Answer
PHYSICS professor Ulrich J. Becker, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, stated when commenting on the existence of God: "How can I exist without a creator? I am not aware of any compelling answer ever given."
Did this contradict his scientific views? The professor's thought-provoking answer was, "If you discovered how one wheel in the 'clock' turns—you may speculate how the rest move, but you are not entitled to call this scientific and better leave alone the question of who wound up the spring."
Contrary to the opinion of some, many respected men of science do not rule out the idea of there being a God—a Great Mastermind behind the creation of the universe and man.
Consider two more examples on this point. When mathematics professor John E. Fornaess, of Princeton University, was asked for his thoughts on the existence of God, he replied: "I believe that there is a God and that God brings structure to the universe on all levels from elementary particles to living beings to superclusters of galaxies."
Physics professor Henry Margenau, of Yale University, said that he was convinced that the laws of nature were created by God, adding: "God created the universe out of nothing in an act which also brought time into existence." He then noted that in the book The Mystery of Life's Origin, three scientists explain that a Creator is a plausible explanation for life's origin. Supporting this view, astronomer Fred Hoyle has stated that believing the first cell originated by chance is like believing that a tornado ripping through a junkyard full of Boeing 747 airplane parts dismembered and in disarray could produce a 747.
To these answers can be added the words of the Bible writer Paul: "[God's] invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power and Godship.

Yes I do.
1. I see no purpose without Him
2. I see His design all around me.
3. Einstein believed, so why should I disagree :)
4. Jesus encouraged people to investigate Christianity. Therefore He seems to have nothing to hide. I've investigated and I see nothing that doesn't make sense.
5. I believe because I see no reason not to. I see no disadvantages.
6. I believe because I don't see any lack of freedom because of this belief.
7. Deep down all God wants us to do is to just use our heads and do well and good, what is so bad about that. Just being a good person is a blessing to Him.
8. I believe because I have no problem praising God. If He is who He says He is, then why shouldn't I praise Him?
It's not like someone asked me to worship a tyrant. He has never made me do anything, and He is always good. So to me the only wise thing to do is to acknowledge God by believing in Him.

Yes
Ps. 19:1: “The heavens are declaring the glory of God; and of the work of his hands the expanse is telling.
Rom. 1:20: “His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made.”
Scientists have identified over 100 chemical elements. Their atomic structure displays an intricate mathematical interrelationship of the elements. The periodic table points to obvious design. Such amazing design could not possibly be accidental, a product of chance.
When we see a camera, a radio, or a computer, we readily acknowledge that it must have been produced by an intelligent designer. Would it be reasonable, then, to say that far more complex things—the eye, the ear, and the human brain—did not originate with an intelligent Designer

I believe in God because there has got to be a higher being that is a whole lot smarter than the human race. We are finite, and there's always an opposite, one that is infinite, everlastning, all-knowing. I believe in Christ as being the Savior and apart of the Holy Trinity.

I have not seen proof of any God's existence, nor can I believe what someones idea of the truth that is written in the bible. I don't believe in Christianity or Catholicism when those religions have lied and deceived their followers throughout their history. I do know that the United Church of Christ says that you are justified in gods eye if you choose to murder your unborn children through Abortion because you failed to abstain from sex. How can I believe in any god that allows himself to be involved with all the corruption and abuse by those supposedly closest to god? Wouldn't GOD stop it? Assume there is no GOD!

Yes, I believe in God. I believe in God because the world is an intelligible and organized place, and I think such intelligibility and organization can only be the result of creation.

The Ocean of Tao
Cannot be called an ocean
For there is nothing else to give it name.
There is no sky above it,
No earth below it,
No shore that surrounds it.
And so it "is".
And yet, "it" is not.
For what is "it" if there is nothing else?
And so there is only "one".
And yet, there is not.
For "one" to be, there must be "two".
And there is not.
There is only entire.
And yet, there is not.
For to be entire Is to measure complete.
And can there be measure Of what has no beginning or end?
Void of name; Void of substance; Void of measure.
Such things define nothingness-
But only if such things "are".
And, since the "are" not, What is?
Everything and Nothing-
The Ocean of Tao
That can not be called an ocean,
or even Tao.

No, I don't believe in God.
a long time ago people made god and the bible up from other ancient religions and superstitions, so that people wil believe that someone is watching over every single one of them, and that they should not steal or kill because something BAAD is gonna happen to them after they're dead.
so there is no god. it's just us. live with it.

The answer to your question is "yes", I believe in God. There are a number of reasons why, but due to lack of space I'll keep it simple. The foremost reason is because I actually KNOW HIM on a PERSONAL AND REAL basis because He literally INDWELLS me by His Holy Spirit. You cannot have the Holy Spirit indwelling you and NOT know it (Him), because His indwelling develops a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP...just as when you have and know of your personal reletionships with your family and friends. But the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of Christ within you is far more personal and intimate due to the fact that He is WITHIN YOU, whereas your family or friends dwell on the OUTSIDE of your body. If I was to say that I DON'T KNOW GOD by Christ INDWELLING my body, then I would be lying to you. But in truth I KNOW HIM PERSONALLY, because He DOES INDWELL ME. That is ONE of the reasons for the Holy Spirit...so that you can KNOW God in an intimate and personal way. If you want to know more, here is my e-mail: maynardthcblarry@yahoo.com
