Between Catholic and Orthodox? I think the Catholic Church would have to lessen the role of the Pope to make it happen.

Asking for forgiveness for what happened during The Middle Ages by the previous Pope (especially the 4th Crusade) was a good start.

Are you speaking of the Great Schism of 1054 AD? If that's the case, what on earth would make you think that it should be after nearly 1000 years??? Things seem to be working just fine. At this point, the Catholics & the Orthodox are just too far apart on views to consider trying to make amends. So be it.

I don't think the Schism can ever be repaired because it has been too long now, with too much bad blood and intervening traditions and differences to complicate things more. It would be nice if it could be repaired though. I think the followers of Jesus Christ need to put aside their differences and band together for the sake of goodness. There is too much evil out there to fight against to allow ourselves to be caught up within our own squabbles.

If you mean the Orthodox/Roman split. This is being worked on as we type, great progress has already been made. The Eastern Orthodox now have full communion with the Roman church, and the Greeks are close.

This is the prayer of my heart: "Father that they may be one as you father and I are one"John 17. I certainly would not want to stand before Christ on the Judgment day and present a divided Bride!

Seventy times seventy. That is the answer Christ gave when asked how many times we should forgive somebody. Also, "forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us." Or, Do onto others, as you would have them do onto you. Or, "It's a small world after all." Or, "All you need is love." Yes, if at all possible, repair the schism. Life is to short to weight yourself down carrying grudges.

Do you mean Prizms, as in a Geo Prizm? They are very reliable cars. If you have one that needs repair, fix it. It will give you many more miles of dependable use.

A little spackling or Silly Putty should fix it.

Eventually. ALL knees will bow and all tongues confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. At that time there will be no denominations.
