you know those people that tend to feel so much better when they know their neighbor is in debt for putting on a new roof? Thats why... they can feel just a little better about themselves knowing they are not the only sinners, and, of course, it takes all the attention off themselves.
Plus, Christianity has its earliest claims on conversion- the more you fear God, the more you sin, the more you need Christianity- and in that day the more Vhristians the more tax dollars, as there was no separation between church and state.

Well, if you are an obedient Christian, then you are commanded to do so.
"If your brother sins against you, go and confront him while the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother. But if he doesn't listen, take one or two others with you so that 'every word may be confirmed by the testimony of two or three witnesses.' If, however, he ignores them, tell it to the congregation. If he also ignores the congregation, regard him as a Gentile and a tax collector." (Matthew 18:15-17)
And
"Brothers, if a person is caught doing something wrong, those of you who are spiritual should restore that person in a spirit of gentleness. Watch out for yourself so that you are not tempted as well. Practice carrying each other's burdens. In this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:1-2)
And
"Show mercy to those who have doubts. Save others by snatching them from the fire. To others, show mercy, but with fear, hating even the clothes stained by their sinful lives." (Jude 22-23)
These days, it is so hard to be obedient, because political correctness has so permeated the society that we would rather "not offend," than be obedient to God. When Cain asked God "Am I my brother's keeper?" The answer is "Yes!" But we allow carnal Christians continue in their carnality, and don't help them remove themselves from the trap of sinfulness. They never bear fruit, and sometimes get discouraged or disillusioned, and ultimately fall away, because no one cared enough to administer discipline in their lives.
It's greasy grace, and we are better to deal with, rather than camouflage, sin.

I would say the best way to describe why we care is because we would like everyone to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Part of that acceptance is the acknowledgement that you are a sinner and you are sorry for your sins, but want to accept Christ into your heart.
We are all sinners and the only One without sin is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It's not so much that I care about your sins, but more so I care about your salvation and as for more room in Heaven to quote the Savior........."My Father's house has many rooms......."
Peace Be With You

We are not interested in more room in heaven. If you are a true Christian then we want you to stop sinning b/c we don't want people to go to Hell. We want to prevent it. We care or at least I care that you are sinning b/c I want to meet you in Heaven not hear your cry of despair from the depths of Hell. Does that make sense??

If you're trying to take my wife, it is very much my concern. The same applies to my property. Most of the 'thou shalt nots' are about taking what's not your's. If you don't like the 'I am your God thing...', that really doesn't concern me. But, it is a good indicator of your character, and whether I'm going to enjoy your company. Be honest with yourself for a minute, when you're in a store, and you notice the clerk watching your hands, do you think he's concerned with your 'heaven', or his property?
As to your relationship with God, and my place in heaven, you may be right. But I hope I see you there...

Because true Christians care about everyone and want to share Heaven with everyone. There's plenty of room. I hope I see you there!

why:
because jesus says love the sinner, hate the sin.
god cares about everyone that's sinning, everyone that's on their way to hell & not heaven. we're out there preaching the gospel in to all the world, letting them know that jesus christ died on the cross for all of us. that if you don't repent/ask god for forgiveness, you'll end up in hell. that's the last place i'd ever want/wish anyone to go.
if we didn't care, share the truth/holy bible with you all, then we're including myself accountable to god for each & ever person that god brings into my life/path. then when i'm judged by god, then everyone's blood will be upon my hands & no way in heck will i be judged from god for that. that means that i could of saved a soul from hell, going to hell, changing their life, letting them know that there's a father up in heaven that loves each of us.
see, being a christian now we know the truth, we know what's right & wrong. we're trying to share the lord's love w/all, there's hope, peace, joy, happiness, prosperity in the lord.
his mercy & grace endures forever.
we care more then u know. god's done so much in my life, home, marriage, kids that i could never disobey god. he's given us the love , an unconditional love to reach the lost, the hurting, the depressed/discouraged, the family & people in need/want.
to let them know that there's life in christ.
so, god luvs you more then you'll ever know. we care if you go to heaven/hell.
heaven & hell are real.
god bless

Well we were given the job. Doesn't mean we go out of our way to find out what the person may have done. And we want to make sure that the choice is given.
And there would be plenty of room, never fear about that.

Specking as a Christian, I believe that to enter into the gates of heaven you need to repent for your sins. You should also tell others about the greatness of GOD. Meaning if you tell them about GOD then they will follow what you do and you should repent for you sins.

Why would I want to know that I could have kept someone from burning in hell. I love all people and want the best for them. I don't want them to suffer for eternity. I would hope that you wouldn't want me to suffer either.
It is heart breaking to me to know that someone is going to be hurting beyond anything we can ever begin to imagine. We have all seen and felt pain and suffering, and to try to imagine it worse than that would be worse than any nightmare and I can't help but want to save anyone from that kind of torture.
I hope this has helped you to understand.
