His children are 30 and 28. Will they be upset? My children are younger. We are both financial set, so its not about money. I just want to know what people would think to see it in public.

Most people say Love is the most important thing.
However, He's old enough to become your father, and His children might be upset with the fact their father's girlfriend is just a little bit older than them. Your children, although younger, May feel uncomfortable with a older man in the household. In my opinion, The relationship is based on the people in it. If you are in love, Like each other alot,etc....Then go for it. Who cares what everyone else says, its not their business.

Is he an old 62? Either way it does not matter. If you love him than why not be with him. I am sure it would be strange for his children since they are so close to your age but if they see that you love each other they will grow to accept you. I will be honest, sometimes when I see a couple on the street who have a huge age gap between them I do think it is strange and sometimes thinking about it grosses me out. But it does not matter what I think or what any one else thinks. Are you comfortable with the age difference?

Does it matter what anyone else thinks if you were to go out in public together? Only the ignorant, small minded people that arent in a relationship of their own would look down at your relationship, and they would probably only look down at it because they're jealous of you both! These kind of people are probably still single because of their attitudes and ignorance!
As long as you are both happy, then Good Luck to you both.
Im not sure how his kids will react, but im sure they will get over it....if they love & respect their Dad then im sorry, but its a case of having to get over it!
How do your kids feel about him? My kids are 9, 7 & 5 and your only a year older than me, so i doubt if your kids are much older or younger than mine, and im pretty confident that at these ages they adapt well to most things, so i doubt if it will bother them?!
If it was my Dad that you were talking about, i think i would be more than happy for you both, as just by asking this question on yahoo-it shows just how much you love him!

If you are really interested in this man, who cares what others think. As for his children they might be upset but they are adults. I say if you can find happiness go for it life is too short not to; after all age is just a number

Regardless of what you have going on in private, when people see the two of you together with this huge age difference they are going to think you are a gold digger and he is your sugar daddy.
His kids? Well, I think they are going to be a little upset! How would you feel if your dad started seeing someone your age?
On the other hand, you could just throw caution to the wind, even if it alienates him from his kids, and just do whatever you want to do.

If you care about him then it doesn't matter what anybody else thinks. There are lots of reasons why people are attracted to each other, age is a superficial concern. His children may be upset, but if if their father is happy with you they should support his relationship. Good luck with everything!!

Chances are his children will be upset with this, but you have to realize that you probably would be too, if your father began dating a woman your age. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't see him. Love knows no numbers, darling. Maybe it will work out and maybe it won't, but if you don't try, you'll never know.

Noooooo. 62 isn't as old as I once thought it was. If the two of you are attracted to one another, what does it matter what year you were born in? As for his kids, they are at a mature enough age to understand how love works and desire above all happiness for their Dad. Have fun! Be safe.

Honestly,I'm not trying to be mean, I would think that there must be some reason you're with him, like money or something. I mean this is just at first glance. You're young enough to date one of his kids. I think personally you should date in your age group. But I'm not trying to sway your opinion. If you love him..be with him not matter what other people think.
