I want to train my dog in agility. Any ideas?

Where do I start...I teach the Beginning Agility at my club. There is so much to learn. Do what most of us have done to start, buy a book and join a club. Yahoo answers is not the place to learn agility. I do like the way you asked the question because you asked "step by step". That is important in agility because there are so many steps. I do not let dogs on the agility field unless they have a sit, drop, wait and come. Every skill builds on that. Start there.

Put a white pole across some paint tins & use treats to get your dog to go over them.
