Hi!
It's called "Japanese Hair Straightening or Thermal Reconditioning". The process takes HOURS (up to 8 hours) depending on the amount (meaning length & thickness) and can cost upwards of $1,000 depending on where you go. The process is PERMENANT.

the japenese people don't get there hair straighten there hair is natrurally straight but if you want your hair straighten figure spending 35.00 to 50.00 limit how often you have this process done other wise you will fry your hair which means dry it out so bad it becomes brittle

my friend is aisan and she said a lot of her Korean friends do that. She said it is called "magic" and that it was very expensive.
