Excessive bathing may be the problem. Make sure your dog is getting enough vitamins and nutrition. Poor nutrition in pets can cause excessive shedding. There are vitamins available at your local pet supply store that are designed specifically for your pet's coat and skin. Try adding these to your dog's food. My dog has been on them for a little over a month and is already showing improvement.

Labs are shedding machines.
They shed all the time and thru out the year.
If you are already feeding her a very high quality diet and brushing her at lest once per day
you are going to have to learn to live with the hair.

You may try a different food or adding some kind of anti shedding supplement to her food.Keep a brush by the T.V. and get into the habit of brushing her while you are sitting there.

lots of brushing and baths, that's the best method i know of. labs are water dogs, so have thick coats, and in the summer (particularly) they will shed.

you have to brush them every day to help get rid of the winter coat and then again when the summer coat to get ready for the winter i know its a pain but do that and is the dog under any stress and that may cause it to do shedding.
