Get yourself an Arkansas pig sticker from Smoky Mountain Knife Works, find a wild boar in the woods and take it out, Mano y Pig. They sell sausage mixins so you can do something with the other parts of the animal, as well as food dehydrators and smoking cabinets at Wal-Mart, and hey, I GUARANTEE you will never be at a loss for hog jowl bacon ever again, (or chipmunk, possum or anything else for that matter.)

Most meat markets carry it -- if not, call and ask the butcher and they can point you in the right direction.
