Unfortunately the answer to that question is yes. My source of experience is me. I have lived on this earth for almost 50 years now and it has happened to me, my Friends, neighbors, family. And it almost always ends up breaking someones heart. And if it is let go to long it could even make you feel a little crazy.Not wanting to hurt either of the other parties , yet you will feel like you could just pull your hair out and scream sometimes, all those different feelings pulling you back and forth. Decide quick, the quicker the better for all involved. Sorry it won't be easy but better now than later when there is already way too much emotional conflict.

Of course you can be in love with two people at the same time. What you have to decide is which one is the one that's going to last? Don't play around too much either or you're going to end up hurting everyone involved. Make a decision because you can love two but you can only have a lasting, loving relationship with one.

You can love two people at the same time, but you can't love two people the same way. It's impossible to say that you would be in-love with two men and love them both exactly the same way.

Not really, although you can be sufficiently attracted to many people to warrant dating them. Unless and until you are married, you are free to date whomever and howevermany folks you chose. It is only after making a commitment to monogamy (hopefully with a person you genuinely love) that you can't hang out with twins, or date five different people at the same time.
Love is a game for those who are pretty much done with fun.

you can only TRULY be IN LOVE with one person at a time because that love fills your heart. You CAN however be IN love with one person but still LOVE another. and if you haven't fully processed your feelings then you'll feel like you are IN LOVE with two people. But really it is just the comfortability of the one that keeps you THINKING you are IN love.

you can love two people because you see qualities you like in one that the other does not have, people would say no you cant be in love with two people but i believe you can be, it has happened to me before so i know, and it's very hard letting go of one or the other, but eventually it has to be done otherwise it just causes unnecessary problems.

At different levels that's possible. Like you love your mom and also your dad.
But when it comes to real, serious relationship, you're giving yourself a hard time when you do that. That's emotionally impossible like you cannot be in two places at the same time.

there are many types of love, all consuming, emotional, physical, spiritual, rational and of course romantic, so yes it is possible to feel love towards more than one person at a time. Love is like a spice, it must dust everything and overpower nothing to make it a wondrous dish

Personally I've never been in that situation, but I do think it's possible. It's important to be honest with yourself though. Try and get out of that situation, it's not good for you or the other people involved.
