Diets don't work- LIFESTYLE CHANGES do...don't STARVE yourself, eat 5 SMALLER meals a day.
Eat only when you feel hungry. Eat slowly- it takes 20 minutes for your brain to tell your stomach it's full.
Drink WATER all day long. A natural appetite suppressant is PECTIN a fiber used in making jams/jelly. Mix 1 TBSP in a glass of water twice a day before meals.
Get a CALORIE CHART. Figure out how much you can eat a day and MAINTAIN your weight. Lose the way you gain- SLOWLY.
Exercise- crosstrain in sports you like. Walk 45 minutes on off-days. Learn PE basics and use them.
Reward yourself occasionally and don't despair if you cheat. Make it up on the next few meals. Don't feel like you CAN'T have things you like. CHOOSE when you will or won't have things.
These things will become habits in time. Picture yourself the way you want to be and make it happen. You CAN do it!

you gotta change your routine cos we associate what we do with what we eat.so if on your way to work you usually get a muffin and a coffee, you have to change your route cos when you pass the shop your brain expects to get the coffee and cake and if you dont you'll really crave it.
also if you exercise early you wil be less inclined to eat 'bad' foods because then ur work out will have been in vain.
if you crave at home, move to another room take a drink of water have a shower or brush your teeth, soon you'll break old bad habits and form new, good ones.
keep a food log, and be completely honest, or else you are only fooling yourself, an extra biscuit or slice of bread here and there does add up!
as you eat less your stomach will shrink, and you WILL fell less hungry, its the first week which is the hardest....
good luck

Willpower is the #1 reason why you indulge. The key to losing weight is how often you eat each day, not how much. If you eat all at once, once or twice a day it will be retained more than that same amount spread over the entire day.
The answer to controlling your appetite lies within yourself, not with us. You are a human being. You are capable of controlling yourself, and need not rely on others. You are capable of change.

Keep chocolate and other things out of your house and avoid the temptation to buy them. Keep active--- when you're bored you tend to eat more.
