Yes...Dogs have many emotions as humans do and they can experience anxiety as well. Just as children is some environments; Dogs can feel stress, sadness, and even sickness. On another note..dogs also feel positive energy like happiness and excitement. Everyone.. dogs or humans, want to feel loved and crave attention. If you have a dog; atleast touch the dog and let it know you are there and a good game of fetch always does the trick! Good luck~

Dogs are pack animals that should not have human emotions attached to them. That can only spell trouble. Dogs can feel that they do not have a place in your pack if you ignore them but love isn't an appropriate label for a dogs feelings. Humans can love dogs....dogs thrive on being in a pack or being a member of a pack.....and in a perfect world you would be the alpha. If not ....then there is a problem

I think so. My dog starves for attention so he must feel like he isn't getting any. If he can feel love, surely he can feel unloved.

Yes they can, just like you can. Only they can't go look for someone else to give love to them. They depend on their people for that.

Oh absolutely. Try to ignore them for a day or two and they will reward you with a surprise here and there.
