lol - I think it's hillarious. Stop trying to be all PC and enjoy life for once.
I mean if it's a personal site, leave it. If it's a business site, yeah, change it.
I still don't get why people are so ******* sensitive about 9/11. This happens world wide and we don't care, it happens here and it's a tragedy. More people die from smoking everyday than were lost in 9/11 and yet the Surgeon General won't put a ban on that...It's just life, that's the way things go. If those people didn't die in the twin towers, they probably would have died in a pileup in I-75....oh but wait, then there wouldn't be anyone to 'blame' for it *sigh*
Do whatever you want. I think it's fine to post.
Have fun.

To most people, I think they have realized it is time to move on after Five Years, so I don't think most will find it offensive. Anyone who was affected though personally on 9/11 will find that comment very offensive. For example, someone who lost there brother in the Twin Towers. I, really, don't find it offensive, but I don't think America is ready for jokes like that especially in a public area. Maybe in a couple years, everyone will truely be able to move on

No I don't find it offensive, I understand how some ppl think it might be. To me it is just a joke. People joke about sensitive stuff all the time. Besides I think ugly people are offensive but I can't get them off the web so I say put it back up!

It is very offensive. Thank you for changing it. My dad's coworkers wife was one of the people working in the impact zone of one of the towers -- so if I am offended and didn't really know anyone that died, how do you think someone that lost someone felt? Your best bet is to always avoid stuff like that.

Yeah, it comes across as offensive. I think it's still too soon after the tradegy. Fifty years from now, most people may get a chuckle out of it, but by then we may not have websites anymore.

I'd take it as a joke, but would be a little shocked by it. Depends on the context and purpose. If this website was trying to sell me soap, or any products or even a professional service (except maybe comedy), I wouldn't buy it.

I laughed.
Many people find some jokes about national disasters inappropriate no matter how long you wait until telling them. Some still "tut" at referenced of needing a hole in the head like Lincoln.
They're just prudes and should be ignored.

I don't really think it offensive, and I don't think you meant it to be, but I would think that everyone would tell you bad joke.. or bad reference. I am sure that someone out there would even find someway to link you to all of that just because you made an off handed comment... but like someone else told you, you answered your own question.

Insensitive more so than offensive. There are still so many families out there reeling from their loss and the comment would probably bring alot of icy stares from the folks I know.

I personally think it's funny and gets the point across, but it was a good idea to take it down because it may be offensive to others.
