Well, you can be gay and not act on it. I'm not sure if people are born gay or if it's something that happens to them early in life.

I think in the beginning, God was concerned with procreation. Now, there are plenty of people so maybe it's not a bad thing.

I'd be curious to know if the whole Gay-Bible thing is Old or New Testament.

And no, I don't think you are gay.

The Bible does not say that a homosexual cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven nor does it say that a homosexual cannot be saved. What the Bible says in Romans 1 is that homosexuality or homosexual acts are sins against God. All sins can be forgiven, and all those who "believe on the name of the Lord shall be saved." No one is born a homosexual, and I have never seen a gay animal even though I have been told that gay animals exist (not even a Discovery Channel documentary on gay animals). People are placed in a position where homosexual tendencies are pushed because parents did not follow God's laws for rearing their children. Many people who are gay now where pushed into that lifestyle because of peer pressure (like the nerdy guys around middle school who get called gay because they don't play sports). All anyone has to do to get into heaven is to believe in Jesus. The homosexual aspect of life will go away if they truly give their lives to God.

God Bless!!

People are not born gay.

there's no gay gene.
(read my source)
----------

Its all because of mis-nurtured (divorced parents, abusive dads, overprotected moms, beilng spoiled too much, no parents at all, etc.) and/or environment (bullied, etc.).

Maybe you'll ask: Its still unfair, since we aren't asked in which family/environment we're born into.

Well, no matter how bad our childhood were and/or our environment now, do have faith in God and listen to Him. So we can be a new person regardless what kind of family/ environment/ past we have.

And we listen to God by reading The Bible.
And it is written in it that homosexualism is a sin.
The Bible also says that we must repent from our sins (includes --but not only-- homosexualism) and our only way enter Heaven is to have faith in Christ.

---------------------------

oh, one more thing:
I always consider homosexualism as a sin. But that doesn't mean I look down on gays. Because I'm also a man full of sin, I'm no better then them.

There aren't any studies I'm aware of that show people are born gay. Of those I've known, one gal said she had a chemical imbalance, others that they just "started liking guys/girls." From what I've read and seen, there is not a whole lot (there is some) but once again not a lot of research supporting that theory. That and there are cases where homosexuals have changed and are now heterosexuals and vice verca.

I don't believe people are born gay. Homosexuality is a sin in Gods eyes. He still love the person, Just hates the sin. and No sin can enter the kingdom

Mankind is far from the perfection enjoyed by Adam when he was created 6000 years ago. This is why as time goes on, we see new illnesses and social issues.

Just like someone may be born with a tendancy toward alcoholism, some people may be born with a tendancy toward homosexuality. However, that person can still resist the tendancies they struggle with.

A heterosexual may find himself attracted to someone other than his spouse, and he has to shun those feelings to preserve their relationship.

Likewise, a homosexual (if there really is such a thing as a _true_ homosexual) has to shun such feelings to preserve their relationship with God.

Anybody that has not accepted God into their heart will NOT go to heaven. The only way to eternal life is through Jesus Christ. People are not born gay either, and it isn't hereditary, it's a sin.

The bible is full of B.S. Some homophobic person was behind those writings. God loves everyone! Can anyone prove Jesus was not gay? He was 33 and hanging around with all those apostles? Unless of course you believe that Magdalene stuff...

Having sex has nothing to do with weather you are gay or not. The bible says that you have committed adultery in your mind.

I think that it is safe to say that anyone who hasn't turned away from their sin will go to hell. Not just homosexuals.

God doesn't say that, God's "followers" say that.

Besides, if it were all taken literally, then the millions of people that died before Jesus (Mr. "the only way to heaven is through me") are screwed too.
