Are you an alcoholic? It sounds like you aren't yet, but you have the potential to become one. You are a "binge drinker".

I would recommend setting limits for yourself that you promise yourself that you will stick to. For example, tell yourself that you will limit your drinking to one shot of alcohol for each hour you are out.

Since you describe yourself as lacking self control when it comes to drinking, you may need to set up incentives to ensure that you follow your own rules. you can set up your own reward and punishment system. For example, you can decide that if for four weeks you are able to limit yourself to one drink per hour, than you will treat yourself to a day at a spa/a nice dinner/ the leather jacket you've been eyeing at Galleries Lafayette, whatever. Also set up punishments. For example, if you drink more than your self-imposed limit, for each drink you have to send $100 to a charity/ will not be able to go out the following weekend, or something else that either costs you money or gives you some pain.

I lack some self control when it comes to junk food. I set up my own reward system (a massage for every 5 pounds lost, and a massage for every 3 months that i don't gain weight). I lost 20 pounds and have managed to keep it off for 3 months.

So, if you don't have any internal self control when it comes to alcohol, create your own external control mechanisms. But, do do something because you are at risk of hurting yourself and/or becoming an alcoholic.

Good luck.

You've got the earmarks of a true alcoholic. Normal drinkers can control and enjoy their drinking. Alkys, once started, cannot exert control. This is true even after a period of days, weeks or months, or years of sobriety.

The good news? It's entirely treatable. But the coffee sucks.

Good day,

I recommend that you talk very seriously with your parents or perhaps a minister from your church. This appears to me to be the start of something you do not wish to continue.

Hope all the best for you!!!

You're a binge drinker. Since you're hot, guys will buy you drinks and you can't turn them down. Keep partying! =)

The answer is you will be unless you avoid the situation. If you cannot control yourself with some, then avoid it outright.

The alternative may kill you.
